Wrap-around makes a lot of the levels much easier. On levels where there are no poison squares, once your snake starts to get long, you can just have it move to the right all the time and just go up a couple of lines each time you cross the screen, to avoid running into your tail. So, for example, it doesn't matter that you can't turn left on the "last" level, because you only need to go up and right.

Everytime i come back to the game i notice any improvements weren't saved. So i need to start over each time. Is it possible to remember the improvements?

Loved it! I've been really wowed by this game and how well you managed to update an old concept that we'd be bored to play on our cell phones even on a bank queue to something fun to play even if you have your much more modern console in your room. Respekt!

Only comment: I would like to see the dev high score on the screen after death. (i.e. show Score, High Score and Dev High Score.) That way, I know how far away the dev high score is without going back out to the main screen.

I would like the dev high score to be visible when you die so you know what you're aiming for :P i keep forgetting and having to back out to the select screen :P

It seems that, every other time I play, I die because the game just stops listening to my commands. It's quite spectacularly frustrating.

I was really annoyed with the Barmese unlock having to wait almost 24 hours to get the badges done. Till the next day it just dawned on me that I could have just change the computer's clock date. *facepalm*

The easiest way to get the "Tactical Pellet-Eating Action Badge" is in the trouser level. :D
Go straight forward. Wrap to the other side. Then just before you collide with yourself go one up and continue forward.

Love the game! It brings all the nostalgia of Snake into a series of fun, challenging levels.
I wish the edible bits in Rat Snake would blink just a few times before turning solid. When you have reached 15 and above, it is really hard seeing which square is the new one, unless you happen to look at the part of the screen where it appeared. If I am in the left end of the screen and the food appears in the right end, I simply cannot see it appear between the others.

"Please tell me you coded this in python." Is an awesome comment. I agree with most of the previous comments. I don't even like snake games, and still played to 12 snakes. A well deserved 5/5.
