Why does the ball have to launch from such a counterintuitive angle? Why can't it just launch straight or based on the movement of the paddle? An angle like that from a straight launch off a flat paddle doesn't make any kind of sense. I would understand if the momentum from the movement of the paddle had a similar effect, but that is not the case here.

Started out super strong. But then the ridiculous grind and the poorly implemented boss fight brought it form a 4/5 to a 2/5.

you can finish the game with a single hour of nonstop playing if you have an average level of skill,still grindy tough,because you NEED upgrades to reach the end and they cost quite a bit

Reminder: A lot of Unity games unfortunately do NOT have save files (unlike Flash games which had save files on your local computer) so you will want to make sure to use the save code feature on the right side of the main menu before closing the webpage.

I miss when you can sit down and play a game for two to three hours and get every badge. Each run takes ~7 minutes to finish and they all make you feel like you are progressing cause you can always buy something afterwards.

Give checkpoints, and don’t make things rocket up price every upgrade

Yep. Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar too much grind. Far too much. A great shame because this is a great take on the old Breakout format

I beat Tesla when this game first came out, no achievement now though :(. Don't feel like grinding out brick break for the next couple hours to get it now.

Only 3/5 because it's a complete mystery as to how to beat the boss - and you have to grind through the entire game before having ten seconds for another chance to figure it out. If the skulls which the boss is spawning would be surrounded by a brick shape, then it'd be clearer. Sorry, but you ruined the fun with this. Otherwise great game.

I think Charge Shot should either be an uncapped upgrade, or fire in a random pattern rather than just filling in from one side. As it is, if you have fewer charged shots than total shots, you end up unable to reliably destroy skulls on the right side of the lane.

before you try it, no you can't use someone else's save file with all the upgrades, it's tied to the kongregate account and if you type in someone else's code you found on the internet it won't work

I had a lot of upgrades, then the game froze and it made me start over with no upgrades. AND I had played this game a long time ago and made me start from scratch before everything was zeroed today. no save feature?

So, you can use Right click to upgrade ingame, meaning you can play this game mouse only which really saved my brain using my phone during the early stages...

This is first badge I got when I returned to Kongregate after years. But unfortunately I made terrible mistake of clearing browser catche moments after I had finally unlocked charger. I had little time to enjoy it. But perhaps this time around Ill earn that hard badge too. Majority of difficulty here is boredom of start.
