RE my previous comment: This only works for a vertical offset (so extractors can be 1 pixel closer together horizontally)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Vashi - I can still power corner extractors. It took some careful positioning but my buffer now powers 18 extractors. That may be part of the trick - you may not have noticed this but you can move extractors closer together by 1 pixel if they are offset by half their length, rather than in a square grid.

I was looking at a mission and thought, "I wish there was a way to save extractor positions." I started dragging and a popup says press ctrl + 1/2/3 to save positions. You are a god. I am unfortunately only about 0.25*Gods.

I use to be able to power a full 4x4 grid of 16 extractors with the buffer, but after an update, it would no longer power the four corner ones when the buffer was in the exact center of the grid, did an update occur to make this intentional, or was this an oversight / unintended? I liked being able to fit a full 16 under a buffer with exact precision placement of the buffer.

How about a button to make the eschange for all the elements in other words a button where you grab all the energy and you deliver it equally on all the elements unlocked

The element symbol not displaying unless you're hovering over the upgrades tab just isn't intuitive. It works but you can't look for where to put the extractors without halting "manual" production, and it makes learning their positions very slow.

moved one of the extractors on a button (evolution) because i thought i could possibly discover one of the secret batches ^^... but now i cant move the extractor back. when i click the extractor, i just click the evolution button... :( there's no "free my extractor" button, or?

@NEWPROJECT1 some people can't afford an upgrade they want with only one slot maxed. Instead they need several slots maxed out.
Sure, they could come when one slot is maxed and move the extractors to be more efficient in the game, but some times they wouldn't want to and instead would rather wait until they get enough for the upgrade, with 2 or 3 or 4 slots maxed.
P.S. being able to buy with 5 slots is rather useless when it costs the same as the other max upgrades. If you can buy it you can buy the others.

@oakshield, the last one is a secret, but you just need to find it. It is hidden somewhere on the exam page.
@my1name1no1name If you mean the extraction bonus, quite easily. You start off at 100% extraction, then as you get more knowledge you get a bonus, putting your extraction above 100%.
If you meant how to do it in the game, learn more than 100 elements.
@NicolasRei you need to use evolution points, from a number of the form NNNN to 1 less. But do it at the start of an evolution tier.

Can add a function show when that element going to full? All elements or element that have production... just a suggestion

Hovering over the save button shows how long it takes for an element to reach max, but once it reaches max it doesn't change to a new element. I've pressed every button on the game and refreshed, but no change. The only way it will change is if the maxed element has been used. Is there a way to change the element without using it?

Tip guys: Those export and import codes have to be changed frequently or you can lose major days worth and be set back big time

Please have the elemental symbols show up on sections that do not have extractors on them. Having to search without having memorized the positions is a pain

Last level quests are really stupid. Just wandering through whole table to find all elements discovered between 1801 and 1850...

some more of the 'random' exam items i found: olympic - gold, silver and bronze. overflow - 10 storage elements at max. afk - mouse over the same extractor for 1 hour. this must be love - click same molecule 20 times.

GrumpBear I usually keep my browsers open because I'm lazy. It might seem like a messy solution to you, but see if that works?

Proposal: Each time you Ascend, your Slot to Buy Max increases by 1. Max the Maxing at either 10 (even number) 15 (number of Eras +1), or 20 (healthy percentage of Periodic Chart)
Ascending should really be attractive with a nice juicy bonus. :)

The quickest way to make this game more fun is increase the number of extractors you can have and how fast you can get them. You don't need to increase anything else, but being able to consistently have 2 extractors on some of your more used elements and 4 on Carbon, Hydrogen, and Oxygen would help a lot.
I don't want to outright break the game but I want to feel like I can strategize with the Extractors and not be constrained so much.

extractor position loading does not change what, if anything it is producing and saving the game after loading positions does not save properly.

So... I got downvoted because I didn't like the objectives forcing me into things I wouldn't have otherwise bought? Interesting.... I had given the game 4/5 stars anyways, apparently expressing your opinion isn't welcome. Perhaps I should have given the game a 1/5 and not commented? Maybe people would have liked that better...

A helpful bug/glitch....
ALT Tab to a different window while your mouse is on a element and you will keep the manual boost even when it is in idle mode :P
P.S. You can bring up the game window and move your mouse around Kong, but don't put the courser back on the game window or it will then register the mouse moved off the element
Hope this helps :D

This has to be the best use of an idle game, ever. As sophisticated as the periodic table itself. If I were a Chemistry teacher i would make this part of the homework...

I really liked the game, but I have been having issues lately. My game resets any time I close my browser. I know it isn't my browser info being cleared (I have plenty of other games that retain their data). If it stops I will happily play on, but right now I am sorry to sy it is too much of a hassle.

@leamhnach, You have to drag 4 extractors to the corner. Zoom in ALOT and move them just a smidge at a time. The 5th extractor will be the center one.

Decent idle game, neat concept and application. Would be better if I didn't keep running into objectives that forced me to do things I didn't want to do yet. Objective: 9.92n^3 manual power, 298 auto power. Current: 6.75n^3 manual power (after buying 4 upgrades solely for this objective), 1.17n^3 auto power >.>
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Lots more elements are found in Earth's Crust, just in small amounts.
Could you change the objective so it reflects that (e.g. put found in greater than x% abundance or makes up more than x% of the crust)?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Okay, I'm writing that here because - it seems - you have comments in Steam disabled: PLEASE make this a free game (pls :( )

having an objective as get 111 points in exam is pretty mean. I don't know what i need to do for (literally) most of them that are left
