Days of working on the hard badge just to find there isn't even a "Game Completed" screen. Between the crazy amounts of grinding, frustrating gameplay and now this I have to say that this game is an atrocity. It never should've been awarded badges and I'm not sure how this games has more than a 2 star rating. Boooooooooo

Yes, there's grinding. Yes, there's no strategy. For a quick badge, upgrade your hand weapons through the fire attacks (next to bottom row) all the way on each, then upgrade your core attack on the magic (bottom row). Dump a few thousand into your magnet, then you can win no problem. Just buy those things and get the badge. You absolutely do not need to buy anything.

I think that if the game was less spendthrift and there were so many other levels, I should still continue to play forever! Pop balloons is one of the most beautiful things in the world * - * In addition, the game is very competitive and of strategy in some way, the only other flaw is that you can not reset the game.

3.5 is a good place to grind. You can get 5-800 cash in the first two minutes, then just go back to the start of the level. Still... not a good game, for all the reasons that have already been mentioned. I'll get the badge, then never come back to it again.

I have been a huge fan of the Bloons TD games, but this is bad. The concept is a lot of fun, but the game becomes an extremely boring grind after about the third level. Don't get me wrong; I like popping bloons just as much as, if not more than, the next guy, but I won't be playing this game any further.
1/5 for uncontrolled capitalism.

BTW all. The only weapon you really need to get hard badge is "core attack" laser. Upgrade it all the way to "Solid Doom". Then research "focused beams" all the way (Means laser can break glass balloons). Left and right arm attacks can be anything as the "solid doom" laser will take out enough balloons to complete each level

Needs an upgrade reset button, that would really help to decimate the grind fest.
I was really happy to see this game come out since I enjoyed the first one a lot. In the first one I was really wanting a way to replay levels. While we got that with this one, as has been said this game is to much of a grind fest. It takes all the fun out of it. Graphics good, gameplay okay. Actualy fun factor... well this game seems more like a job. So 1/5.

When played as Idle game= not that bad.
How to play:
1. Just place the monkey on the desired position, press the right mouse button, go to an other tab and do studd.
2. come back, buy upgrades
3. repeat step one
4. profit

Yeah... so the save game occasionally, apparently, forgets the research upgrades you spent blops on. But it sure as heck remembers that the blops were spent. That's a rather breaking bug, especially considering both how grindy the game is, and that you want people to pay real money for blops.

WTF. Gave it another go.... No more though. Started a mission with over $10,000. Did half the level, then noticed I had less cash than what I started the level with (Theres no aliens that steal cash on that level).
Finished level, got gold trophy....but... my balance is less than what it was when I started the level...

I play it for couple of days just grinding it so I just can't do it anymore. I like to enjoy playing games, this one is just hard labor.

there's no point. there's no point! there is no point to this game. the creators of this atrocity have made no effort to make me want to play the game. the levels are repetitive, predictable, boring, and tedious. it is a fudgin' chore to play this. i wish i could give them negative kreds so kongregate never lets them publish a game like this ever again. but i know that won't happen, because games like this make 'almighty overlord gamestop' tons of fricken money with little to no money wasted in the development department. it is sad to have a front row seat while one of my favorite websites goes down the crapper while under new management.
tl,dr: this game is garbage and gamestop inc. should go burn in the fires of tartarus until they see the error of there ways.

When I logged back in for another round and tried to switch back to a weapon I had previously bought, I had to rebuy it. Is that meant to be like that? Because all the levels I unlocked were there, just not the weapons.

Far too grindy, lags horribly. Upgrade system isn't bad, but other games do it much better. This is lucky to get 3/5, and forget buying premium content.

The rewards for popping most or all balloons in any stage are the same, and they are very frustrating starting on level 1.

Grindy. For people who are going after the badges, the fastest way for me to earn blops (or whatever the currency is called) was to upgrade Dart core (preferably until you unload 24 darts per shot) and have laser/magic (for lead and ceramic) for the left and right arms. Deep bloon sea map 1 (stage 11) was the easiest farming stage for me when you're in mid-game.
