Just a tip: Getting the Money Buccaneer as soon as possible will help A LOT. Make sure you upgrade it to max level and get more afterwards.

This is simply horrible! I remember now why i rated it so low back then. The lag is just unbearable. It starts lagging around level 12; it's barely noticeable at first. At level 40 it becomes just unplayable. You would think that after having released that many games the developper would begin to get the hang of it (flyweight pattern, for instance?). Guess what? He didn't.

Really needs a way to unlock everything (for free). I don't want to have to level grind every time I use a different computer or clear my cookies.

For people with a bit slower PCs, a little tip I figured out is to turn on fast forward, and scroll my page down so it hides the game. I instantly hear the balloons popping much faster. So if you have a defense your satisfied and confident with, you can do this to pass the time much faster.

@comstock76: use a mortar or upgrade ship/plane/monkey beacon. With mortar you can shoot where you want and buildings in range of ship/plane/monkey beacon can shoot at camo's (ship and plane can do it by themselves to). and of course a tack if there are other bloons and so there AT LEAST 15 ways.

And...badge of the day earned! My strategy: play the lollipop track on medium, max everything out as much as possible, and freeplay until you unlock rank 24. Then complete the tap (faucet) track.

I LOVE this game. It was really well put together, like the unlock system, the on/off fast forward etc. I for one am glad they came out with BTD5.

I had more trouble figuring out which tracks some of the badges are referring to than finishing the badges themselves ... need actual track names in-game, or track numbers in the badge descriptions. >_>

If you buy any of the temp stuff, glue, pineapple bombs, tacks, then save, when you load the save, all the temp stuff is gone, but your still out the gold it cost you to put it down.

love the dartling gun. hint to easy leveling play easy on first map till you unlock banana farm. 2-3 start with bomb tower placed near the start where the 3 sections of track get close. save till you can buy dartling gun and upgrade twice. buy 2 banana farms and upgrade them at least once. buy another dartling gun. buy more banana farms/upgrade till you're making enough to purchase another dartling gun on income. start maxing farms while building 1 dartling gun per wave. once farms maxed add 2 new bombtowers near start (for lead bloons) and/or mortars. amass an army of dartlings and dominate

jolly good fun, the unlock system makes the game more rewarding when playing for longer periods of time. I might suggest health bars for the blimps, whereas you can see how much damage you've done to wooden bloons, it's hard to tell how close you are to killing a blimp. being able see what effect different towers have on the blimps would really help in calculating a defense or strategy

Too slow, hotkeys are a laughable concept in this series, it's still just the same shit, no end to the asking for money from us. Can't believe people actually make money off of stuff like this. Pathetic
