Yeah, I would say for purpose of getting HC impossible badge, noble is better class then rogue.. because of bow master and the faster leveling. Rogue starts to shine more in late game. But for purposes of getting all the badges and before trying HC, I recommend rogue
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Selachi, yeah thats what is better about noble class is the bow master skill. But rogues do make more money. I'm finding that i'm using a 4 slot bow gun on my rogue more then the revolver, even without bow master. Rogue is definitely harder class to play then noble, but the income you get at the end is worth it imho.

dudemeister: there are tabs to the right of the tower upgrade window, same with medal page.. i had trouble finding it at first too lol
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Made a small mistake, Burst only works for assault rifle and machine gun (rifle) it doesn't work for any of the big guns like HMG or chain gun. @lightwired Noble is the strongest for HC because bowguns are overpowered. After level 50 if you've got a 4+ slot bowgun maxed with fire rates and 1 auto fire, you don't need allies and can just solo the noble, (by the time I hit level 70 only my duelist was able to still get kills. Also killer doesn't work on bosses, but the noble +40% exp does work on bosses, and doesn't require you to invest 10 levels in it, nor hit that crit every time.

Bummer, I just confirmed that all party skills don't stack.. so dont bother getting the same party skill across the board cause its pointless..
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I definitely think Rogue is most powerful Hero class of the game. With "Killer" skill maxxed it levels as fast as a noble, but makes far more $$. I'm on day 89 and i'm making around 3500gp from slain enemies per day and that is with my luck only at 3
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
My bad, I thought more people who had active skill = more AP, but maybe i'm wrong there. Regarding rogue and laser pistol, isnt revolver more powerful with anti-armor mod and rogue's power shot? The reason i would have 2 nobles is that they level up so fast and with each armed with grav gun and focused on reloading, they turn into a killing machine
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@ Nectarine - I always like to upgrade my Villas and buy chickens than to upgrade my weapons. The reason is because reforging a weapon costs alot, it uses up 4AP and take away the last fitted mod. In order to keep up with the game you must need to upgrade all your allies weaponry also. So it makes better sense to upgrade the Villa as it will upgrade the weapons (damage) for everyone.

@ peterson0120 - The Rogue and Sheriff are the only 2 classes I believe can learn Quick Eyed which increases the chances of good events in town.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Selachi I wasn't suggesting you to use power shot with a machine gun or a burst with a revolver. Perhaps you may want to re-read what I typed, assuming you're addressing me. I like getting both, and opt out of capable and/or repetitive skills that might duplicate with my allies. I'll skip on negotiator if I get a duelist, or quick eyed if I decide to get a sheriff that game. Rogue's are one of the few classes that need to be careful of their skills since they can go over 15, and capable is one of those just not worth getting.

Even though the laser pistol has low accuracy you can still get critical kills from it if you wait for it to cool down after each shot during the early stages. You can also equip it with an accuracy mod. But later onto the game (while focusing on your accuracy, cool and reloading attributes) the laser pistol is the most powerful weapon to have.

Hi,everyone. I was wondering which classes get the party skill that boosts the probability of good events about town (I think it was something like sharp sight, not sure).Oh,and to nectarine,so far I'm on day 78 and only have a 3rd level hunter's rifle (the same that I started with,of course it helps that it has 3 mod slots). The short answer is to focus on chickens and villa (focus on villa much more than chickens).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Oh, and don't give a rogue the laser pistol, laser pistol is so inaccurate you can't hit the blind side of the barn and doesn't take advantage or rogue skills like powershot or oneshot. Use a revolver instead and you'll be able to one hit kill most things, and using a single firerate mod on a revolver gives you a similar speed to laser pistol, just hold down the space bar and you'll never need to invest in reload.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
>.< you people need to pay attention to the details on each skill, burst only works on assault rifles and machine guns/HMG. Also powershot is only for non-autofire weapons, since all machine guns are autofire, burst and powershot don't work together, it's either 1 or the other

Having 2 rogues isn't any more diverse than 2 nobles. Rogue's are pretty poor choices for AI's especially when you have one with low aim rate. You're gambling with sense 10 and luck 10, which works out well I suppose. Rogue's do have very nice team bonuses, especially Negotiator 10. A militia would be a better replacement for a noble since you get the advantage of getting love. Guardians offer love too. It's all up to preference. I prefer rogues with burst 5 and power shot 10. Assault rifles and a revolver is all you need to clear mobs and priority targets, as well as the ability to crit/headshot more and the damage outputs higher then laser pistols.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Forget about a diverse party. Get one sheriff with a high accuracy, cool, and reload rate, Chose wether or not you want to use a big gun, and chose the appropriate class. if not then you need teo other people who can use big gun to use a gravity gun. If son then you may need a rogue and the other is actually up to you.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@lightwired active is a party skill so only one member of your group should be focused on it--you still get the same amount of ap regardless of how many members have it. it's just a waste of skills to have everyone in the party maxing it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@ lightwired - why did you choose to have 2 nobles? Wouldn't it be better to have a diverse party? As each different ally will give a more variety of party skills. Have you tried using 2 Rogues (for extra cash making)?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@ lightwired - since Rogue doesn't learn bowmaster the bow gun becomes much less effective later on the game especially against dragons, tanks and catapults. The revolver has a very high damage rate (good for critical kills and at the early stages) but it doesn't allow you to kill in mass later on. I found that the laser pistol is good at killing dragons and other armored enemies due to its high damage and armor damage. If you focus on the Rogue's accuracy, cool and reloading the laser pistol will be a very powerful weapon later on.

AP is so important in this game, for that reason, I'd recommend running 1 rogue, 1 ranger and 2 nobles. and max out Active skill on all 4 asap. AP is used for so much. Also rogue has Quick Eye ability which is very helpful..
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
My setup is: Rogue with revolver and bow gun back up, guardian with doc holliday and combat shotgun, noble and ranger both have gravity guns. My strategy is to look for weapons with 4 or 5 slots. Hard to do for grav gun, so they are only 2 slot atm.

I'm at day 78, non-casual with Rogue main, and guardian, ranger and noble. Just redid day 78 3 times in a row and keep getting a ragnarok dragon wave that wipes me out.. lol wish i had that elune goblet
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Oh Another thing, during Boss Days you can just press "F" and all your allies will fire at will so it will cancel the unchecked boss attack. The "F" is also helpful if you have an ally focusing on air mobs but there are no air enemies around etc
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
One more thing, I find it useful if one of my allies have the attack Boss Unchecked. When the Boss shield is up, all the allies will still be focusing their firepower on the Boss regardless of the swarming enemies around it. So it is just up to you to defend the castle against everyone! So having an ally killing the other enemies when the Boss is around can really help.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You also need someone who knows the Active skill; Rogue, Noble or Ranger. Once the person knows it, focus on it immediately since AP is very useful. Before I upgrade the Villa, I will spend the AP to collect eggs, have dinner and rob visitors. Once I have the Villa, partying is then the main priority.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I said this before but buy and store repair hammers and grenades in your slots and keep your finger on the corresponding number because that is the only way to prepare yourself for the randomness of the game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The only other advise I have is to plan your usage of money. What I do once I have a full party is to spend it on 1 chickens every day, upgrade to Lv5 Walls right away, Lv2 Repairman, Lv2 Trainer then Lv4 Storage. After that I will use the money on upgrading Walls mainly and then Day 30 something I will upgrade the Villa.

I am sorry also for being uptight but the people here just want to help. Anyway I am experimenting with Rogue now and it is a hard class to play with. I just got killed at Day 43 in Hardcore using the laser pistol and the BowGun as my secondary weapon.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
FYI the team that I reached 350days in Hardcore were; Hunter (Bow Gun) as the main character, Guardian with Shot Gun, Sheriff with Shot Gun and Militia with Gravity Gun. Each ally had a leach mod equipped. The reason I got killed because I left it on autopilot and when I got back I just saw a huge wave of running bombers covering half of the screen. By that time it was just too late.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@ Nectarine - A lot of the people here favours the Sheriff or Hunter since the Shotgun and the Bow Gun are probably the 2 best weapons in the game. Anyone who use them as their main character can go very far with them. The fact that you are using some other class and using Chain Gun, Grenade Launcher or Big Gun means that you aren't taking our comments on board and you are still going about your own little way.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Nectarine - the Bowgun does not get "crap" later on. I reached 350 something days on Hardcore using the Hunter and the Bowgun. If you fit it with fire rate, auto fire and damage it makes a very powerful weapon. The fact that Hunter can also learn bow master and engineer makes the Hunter a very good class, not just at the beginning. To be frank you shouldn't be disrespectful to all of our comments as we were all trying to help.

My Sheriff has skills like Dr Holliday(most important), Anti Armor (second 'most important', with anti-armor mod lvl3 you can do higher damage to armored targets than to other monsters), cripple shot (with that suicide bombers - especcialy bigger ones - are a piece of cake). With this build i could after day 81 to around day 100, taunt 3-4 times and still win without problems. I summoned ragnarok at day 110 (didnt taunt) and score perfect game.... Oh, and I order my team to fire at will and allow only sniper to shot at bosses. I hope this will be helpfull for someone (maybe keep it alive?). Oh, and sorry for my terrible English! D=
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Now i'm on 113 day with my 87lvl sheriff. I'm not going to say why he's the best and i'll try focus on allies. First of all you need sniper. His weapon can be even lvl1, but it needs one mod - leech, and your sniper needs maxed out one skill - One Hit Kill. With this your sniper has 1/3 chance to score critical hit for minimum 99999 damage. With leech mod it means, that you can regenerate your wall no matters how damaged it is. And he can even kill bosses with one shot (even shielded!). After you have that dude, suddenly the FUN comes :) Besides that sniper i have one ranger - gravity gunner (with leech + da bomb skill), and rogue - second rifle man with machine gun (he's the worst in the team, but has skills like active, negotiator, threat). I keep him because i like him, but much better will be to have second gravity gunner or regeneration sniper.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Toryama Duelists get negotiation and engineer as their only party skills, not just negotiation like you said. Hunter and Duelists are the only two classes to get engineer which is a must have skill for any team, unless you're a page refresher.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Damn, just got 4 large tanks at once. Also, just as a tip to noanoa, when you make a sequel to this game, can you make the critical/head shot/etc. a bit bigger? Even with maxed sense,it still takes a bit to find the spot (dragons are especially difficult due to the fact that I can't find their spot at all).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ok, @ deathbyvomit888 that must be one of the "hard" waves that the game has in it.Like you said, they happen randomly and there is no good defense against them (unless you have,like,2 gravity guns).Same thing with midgetman71,that is likely one of the hard waves.
