@ Nectarine - A lot of the people here favours the Sheriff or Hunter since the Shotgun and the Bow Gun are probably the 2 best weapons in the game. Anyone who use them as their main character can go very far with them. The fact that you are using some other class and using Chain Gun, Grenade Launcher or Big Gun means that you aren't taking our comments on board and you are still going about your own little way.

@Nectarine - the Bowgun does not get "crap" later on. I reached 350 something days on Hardcore using the Hunter and the Bowgun. If you fit it with fire rate, auto fire and damage it makes a very powerful weapon. The fact that Hunter can also learn bow master and engineer makes the Hunter a very good class, not just at the beginning. To be frank you shouldn't be disrespectful to all of our comments as we were all trying to help.

My Sheriff has skills like Dr Holliday(most important), Anti Armor (second 'most important', with anti-armor mod lvl3 you can do higher damage to armored targets than to other monsters), cripple shot (with that suicide bombers - especcialy bigger ones - are a piece of cake). With this build i could after day 81 to around day 100, taunt 3-4 times and still win without problems. I summoned ragnarok at day 110 (didnt taunt) and score perfect game.... Oh, and I order my team to fire at will and allow only sniper to shot at bosses. I hope this will be helpfull for someone (maybe keep it alive?). Oh, and sorry for my terrible English! D=

Now i'm on 113 day with my 87lvl sheriff. I'm not going to say why he's the best and i'll try focus on allies. First of all you need sniper. His weapon can be even lvl1, but it needs one mod - leech, and your sniper needs maxed out one skill - One Hit Kill. With this your sniper has 1/3 chance to score critical hit for minimum 99999 damage. With leech mod it means, that you can regenerate your wall no matters how damaged it is. And he can even kill bosses with one shot (even shielded!). After you have that dude, suddenly the FUN comes :) Besides that sniper i have one ranger - gravity gunner (with leech + da bomb skill), and rogue - second rifle man with machine gun (he's the worst in the team, but has skills like active, negotiator, threat). I keep him because i like him, but much better will be to have second gravity gunner or regeneration sniper.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Toryama Duelists get negotiation and engineer as their only party skills, not just negotiation like you said. Hunter and Duelists are the only two classes to get engineer which is a must have skill for any team, unless you're a page refresher.

Damn, just got 4 large tanks at once. Also, just as a tip to noanoa, when you make a sequel to this game, can you make the critical/head shot/etc. a bit bigger? Even with maxed sense,it still takes a bit to find the spot (dragons are especially difficult due to the fact that I can't find their spot at all).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ok, @ deathbyvomit888 that must be one of the "hard" waves that the game has in it.Like you said, they happen randomly and there is no good defense against them (unless you have,like,2 gravity guns).Same thing with midgetman71,that is likely one of the hard waves.

sisters are on page 2 of the tower upgrades (right side) dont feel bad it took 3 weeks befre somebody told me where to find it
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Nectarine : You're using too many weapons. I prefer Assault rifles over machine guns, but either one works as long as you max out Burst 5. Grenade launcher for those really big/tight mobs but those don't come around too often so early. Duelists offer only Negotiation for gold income, but it should be enough with your Militia's Love skill. Rogue's would be a better secondary choice, or a hunter if you enjoy having the Engineering skill.

@lightwired: you still can get the Ragnarok badge at the end of a day, but I think it's impossible without Graal. When you summon the dragons day is extended (I'm guessing here), so you need perfect timing with both the sword and the chalice to do this badge early. Still, it can be done (I did it like 2 days ago on day ~7 with sword and Graal).
Game is really hard, even if you are doing great 3 unlucky lvls/days in row and you're screwed. Kinda anoying...

@ Nectarine - just pick Hunter as your starting character and use the default Bowgun. With the Bowgun aim at the critical areas of the enemies for a quicker death. Don't spend on anything at first except for Lv 1 Trainer and House. Recruit an ally right away and save for 5000GP for Lv 2 House and recruit your forth ally. Also buy and store repair hammers and grenades in your slots and keep your finger on the corresponding number for quick recovery if you were to suffer heavy damage.

You only get ragnarok badge if you use the sword and survive. Also, ragnarok at end of day glitch does not work anymore. I tested that, day doesn't end if Ragnarok dragons are in play, so best to use sword at beginning of round now.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@ thedog377 Did you use it?You have to use it to get the badge.I believe that i put a comment on here earlier that said something along the lines of "Boss day+Ragnarok @ end of day + Holy Grail of Jure =easy badge (but you don't get the level up's associated w/killing the dragons)"

I restarted from the beginning too with no medals, using a rogue and revolver up to level 52 right now, on HC, it's actually pretty easy even though I've got terrible luck with allies
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I wanted to see if it's possible to play HC mode without any medals. I'm on HC day 85~ now, after starting from scratch. Took me 2 tries to get this far, so it's more of a challenge for those who are experienced at the game. The game has great replay value, and I just find rifle rogues most enjoyable.

That old lady should be executed for putting the kingdom at risk with her endless chatter. :P
Day 122, I'm barely levelling up anymore because my guardian with his 54x9 +150% 5 slot shotgun is obliterating everything. 93 teamwork, 91 aiming.. Wonder why my other two only have >20 aiming.

Oh and get a base life up to 125 and anything beyond that is pretty much useless unless you suck or whatever you want to call it
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Weapons are not everything the skills that you teach your person and partners are needed as well. Try getting a high reload skill to at least 60% a cool of 50% and a Accuracy of 60%. And buy at least 2 chickens every day. Don't reforge your weapons all the tome and using a noble is a good strategy as well. And don't forget to reload your weapon after finishing off a wave early and getting a few second break.

The method i chose was unlock everything (except HC and other classes) with hunter first on casual + all mods. Then unlock the other classes. Then choose duelist... Duelist is hard to screw over with random number generator. What you do is start a game with duelist, max your shop fast and get yourself a revolver + leech mod by day 4. If you fail, delete and retry. Once you have a revolver + leech mod u're set and pretty much unscrewable because your base skill makes your damage 1hit just about everything (dinner and kill parachutes).. boss days actually become the easiest days for duelist.

Oh,and "killerpete13" I'd be careful of what yo u say on here. And to anyone on here,I'd advise you not to listen to what killerpete13's saying (unless you like hacked/banned accounts :P).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@ Forhekset The only way that I could see you losing Damage/Accuracy/Reload/etc. is if you had a level 2-3 mod on it (this is why you ALWAYS want at least 2 mod slots on your weapon). That's why when you reforge a weapon you should always add a level 1 mod (cheaper is better) so you don't lose your higher level mods on your weapon.

Hey anyone PERSONA MSSG me ill log into ur acct and youll instantly get all 3 of first achivements NO JOKE NOT A TRICK i already did it for wafflekill

@ blackcoma Boss days are arguably the best days to use them due to the lack of enemies.I'd take a guess that you were at about day 25,right? Anyways... @ mocok the trick is the badges (in-game). Of course, trying to even get them is a game in itself. My recommendation is to try and get the "Noble" class first (made by making a level 10 Militia). That got me quite a few medals all in itself. Then it's a matter of finding the class that fits well with your tastes. For me it's Sniper or Noble (due to the fact that it's a lot harder to get screwed over by the game's random number generator thanks to the multitude of skills they have).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
reforge takes away the last mod, concider that when adding mods. if you have multiple mods try to get the one you want to keep most first. this may mean you have to save mods for a few rounds. good luck
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@forhekset are u sure you weren't losing a damage mod when u reforged it? because as far as i've seen reforging always works.. higher damage and fire rate.. just removes 1 mod from the weapon.

a crossbow is one of the best weapon.it goes through the enemeys
and strikes another one.then use rifle so you can get the flying birds that are annyoing >:D

This game is so random and ridiculous. Even with the upgrages for bonus loot you still get the same crap weapons over and over. I used a sniper up to level 50 or so. The only way I could get a better weapon was to keep forging the one I started with. Which you can't keep doing.
I tried to forge my rifle a fifth or sixth time, and it would have made it worse, not better.

Need help - I suck at this game. Can someone explain to me general walkthrough for the game please? I seem to struggle with money so maybe I made mistake in the early phase of the game. At later phase, I don't have enough money to invest properly and the enemies' difficulty caught up with my lack of damage because I didn't upgrade anything. Thanks!

Oh,and while I'm typing away,an easy way to get the ragnarok survivor medal is to wait until It's almost the end of the day (and be sure to have the Holy Grail of Jure) and using it JUST before they attack (I'm talking about the "energy" in their mouths) while you won't likely get any experience,it is a lot easier than actually killing all of the dragons. (P.S. you get "luck+1" once you get it,no matter which class.)
