Max all stats,
Greed, Walk, Def then rest. You may need to do attack a few times after some early greeds.
To max all always instant kill for +50g when you spend 25g for the kill, you still double your money. Do the same thing with acid spots.

1. Greed - almost all the way
2. Defense - some almost every other level
3. Attack - about three until later
4. Level Defense as soon as possible for the free upgrades (if you don't do this shortly after getting all the greed squares you'll be hard pressed to "Take over the devil")
Because you have to max EVERYTHING in order to take over the devil and by max I mean squares AND diamonds.
5. Move - it saves you big money, so
6. Buy mostly removers when you start needing them
Never buy the eyeballs, you're going to be covering most of the field on in order to collect cash

nice game, but way to unbalanced. Maxing greed with one lvl of attack will get you through the early levels easily. With high greed you actually gain Money when clearing obstacles and Monsters with "Spells".
Soon the only thing that kills you are Bugs when the "Spells" do not work or when you fall alsleep because it is to easy.

Yeah, I went greed then def then move. At that point its easy and I ended up maxing everything out to the point I was spending levels and just getting stat boosts. ^.^

Greed def move attack soul sight for maximum leveling efficiency.
Greed for the money, you can skip the diamond levels till the end, Def for free levels, it also lets you fight most enemies with 0 loss without wasting money on insta kills. Move bonus removers are received 2 per level, so its more effective cash. Attack for the free insta kills. Soul and sight aren't very necessary by this point, so either one first is fine.

awesome game - just finished it a second time. maxed out everything to full diamonds except for attack (just used lots of insta-kills). and yeah, what Shenson said, max out greed first so you get the cash rolling in then take it from there.

all you have to do to get ALL maxed stats is first max out greed except for the last two, then max out defense, then add like 2 points to attack so you can damage those guys with 40 defense, then max out move. There you go, you'll have max stats by like level 17 and plenty of leftover level ups. (Each extra level up, after you max everything, gives +10 atk/def and +50 soul, so I ended the game with 231 attack and defense) and then since you maxed everything you can take over the devil !!!! by the way i only ever used 1 instakill, zero regens, and a crap load of removers

Only level up Greed until you need to increase your attack a bit. Level up greed fully except for the Bonus. Then level up Defense so you can have an extra level per room. Clear out each room afterwards and buy as many levels as you can. You MUST destroy all of the Obstacles and Monsters in EVERY level to get full stats. Enjoy :]

fun game..could use a tweek or two. Increased rewards to offset monster levels. Too easy to level..increase cost factors as you level.

all you people bitching about it telling you on teh last level that you need at least one stat maxed. You needa stop being retards and read game instructions more.
4/5 for me cool game but a bit repedative and i'd like to see some some invintory/items to buff your character, perhaps in the next game?

I managed to bribe the devil.
You cannot 'Take over the Devil', I maxed everything, including the item bonuses from stats and the option was still grey.
