This is quite nice. Simple concept, but quite a fairly complex form of management (but overall, after figuring out what to do, it becomes easy)
Best way to up all the stats is to go greed all the way (and probably add only 1 atk just to pass through most enemies), then on defense (for the lvl up bonus), and then everything else (you can just buy extra stuffs, esp. lvl ups at the shops)

you don't need to max greed first, any stat distribution is easy. the trick is maxing all your stats before game ends..

It feels like you left out a bunch of levels. The last level is impossible unless you upgraded correctly, with no warning ahead of time that you should be maxing attack AND defense.

I love this game but can someone tell me if flying eyes gives you information on every square in the level? it seems too cheap to be true

Haha pretty great game. Far too easy tho. Just maxed greed and each kill neted 50 gold. Only 25 for an instant kill wep so I resulted in being able to easily kll every single monster and seeing every block. Had both osul + greed maxed and almost maxed sight. Final score 28,587

first time around i got greed then i just bought obstacle removes and instakills ran around the map doubling my money...

played this thru JIG, and played it again here. Loved it there, loved it here. Also, seems to help alleviate headaches :) 5/5

Not bad.
As others have posted, there should really be a warning about level 18 that you need insta-kills. The only reason I got through is because I went soul/move my first game and couldn't kill squat, so all my money went to insta-kills.
My second playthrough I did defense/soul, with a bit of attack. It would have been nice if I could click once on an enemy to kill it when it was doing no damage to me and I was only doing a couple of points of damage. It got very tedious killing enemies by clicking on them forty times (hence, the bit of attack, from extra level ups).

i can' submit :( The little window which appears after pressing submit after defeating devil has two buttons: "submit and ""back", but the submit button doesn't do anything, except of the sound :(

Was fairly easy, Greed was mandatory to 50, then certain bonuses afterwards from what I saw to 100% stats. You could go other ways to escape to varying degrees of difficulty, but Greed is good.

I normally don't comment, but there is so much hate coming your way without any good reason; I thought I'd tell you that I really enjoyed the game, the balance was very nice and it had me replaying it a few times until I had perfect stats by the end. I think it would be great if you implemented a few of the changes mentioned in a sequel, but I think the people complaining about the last level missed all the different ways you could possibly win it (knife, maxing stats, using regenerations, using a portable shop to get knives etc.)

it wont let me progress in the game at all.. i can't use any items there are three guys surrounding me (all of which have 1000 hp) and it wont even let me attack them!! seriously man.. WTF DO I DO??!!!

thanks for the comments and suggestions. I'll definitely work on making it less repetitive for the sequel.
For those who had trouble winning the last level, sorry about it. Only solution I could think of is to keep replaying the level and see if you can find a shop nearby :)

Fun game. I focused on greed/defense, and had a huge stockpile of level ups pretty early on. Don't need to play it again, but that's ok. Had a good time once through.

32126 points, funny and fun game. Tried to max all skills but couldn't by the end, only got move, greed, attack, and defense.

The last level became impossible to me since I've leveled up Soul. the only possible way to beat the last level is using instant kill...
If instant kill is a pre-requisite to beat the game you should have said so instead of allowing the players to get stuck in the end...

really nice one, but i think it is a bit linear, esp. battle system: you can calculate to easy if you win or not, so you end up taking no risk at all. some sort of radomness is improving most games, as long as good and bad event are somehow equal and it is important to create the wish to try again. and some new game element in higher level are needed to surprise the player.
so far 4/5, but replayabilty --> 0!

In the end attack and defense become worthless the only way to beat the monsters is instant kill. Another thing is that a monster which get hurt by you but can't hurt you should be killed instantly otherwise you have to stand there and click over and over. Really boring and for all who wonder - for the finale you need all bonus stages of an attribute as well.
