Okay, the gameplay is good, it doesn't overstay its welcome, but seriously, if I click the mute button I expect no sound at all, not having to hear my character bounce around.

Funny glitch where if you land right on the edge you'll hover in space forever, could probably turn that into a 'feature' on the sequel. Also you can kill yourself slowly walking to the ledge until it looks like you're ducking, then walking back. Reminds me of the 'kill yourself by running' glitch on Vice City.

The timing for 22 with you bouching the chick into the corn without touching the ground can be tricky since the snail is off screen, but dropping it down there first before you do allows you to clear that without touching the ground if you time it right.

Sorry, but this isn't "puzzle". Any game that requires as much jumping precision (snails) can't be called that. It's really only a puzzle if it's immediately solvable once you understand what to do. It's a platformer if precision is required, otherwise all platformers are also puzzles. Enjoyed it until there, but unwilling (ok, fine unABLE) to play further. My $0.02.
heyoo, I partially agree with you (: I kind of hate genre game's definitions because they use way more than one single "genre definition" in every single game. As an example no one can define apart an action RPG from an action adventure, they're just personal opinions. The chick is tagged genre because it requires you to figure out paths while managing your life points, either by losing or regaining them. If this element didn't exist I'd have agreed 100% with you. Hope that helps to share my vision about that topic (:

badge doesn't work for me, all addons turned off, haven't played the game before being badged, but it wouldn't update progress. I'm getting bored of replaying the game daily to see if it would get fixed -_- Submitted report a while ago.
Someone else had a problem with the badge but I think that was solved. I'm not aware how I can help you, sorry about that. Hopefully you report gets solved soon (:

Noticed a bug (I think), after finishing a level pres Esc. and you can skip the current one, so basically to finish the game (and get the badge) you only need to clear half of the levels... Very good game though
Thanks for reporting it, I'll fix it next patch (: To be fair beating a level and returning to the level selection screen often takes the same time, so I do encourage the player to experience the game, haha

Poor disabled chickie, the little thing has to jump because he has no perches? Then the chick hurts it's tail feather 'cause of a 'pointed shell' that he cannot seem to wiggle out of, not to mention the bird's wings are unusable! Ouch_ :( Personally, I believe that is cruelty to birdies....btw I only made it to lvl 2 before my chick was suffering, and also it put me right back to lvl 1._ To be fair, I will give you 3/5 (room for improvement).

this was a lot of fun-- just enough challenge to make it worth playing without having to hit your head against the wall, and the ending is adorable
oh no, I'll have to tell you this, this chick was born without vocal chords. You can cheep by pressing C, of course, but the sound won't come out... :(
That's weird, I'm unaware of how Kongregate's system work behind the scene. I think they're probably only incremental by one. I recommend you to try from level 15, if you don't receive a reward during the last level please get in touch with their support, surely they'll help you (:

an extremely annoying twist with having to keep one shell intact. either make it a spare landing or remove it wholesale.
