Great game. Each mechanic introduced gently and then gradually increased in difficulty but no major curveballs and nothing too difficult that requires any significant physical skill to pull off. Nice, easy, fun game with slightly wacky banjo music. Just the way Kong should be.

Nice game, not too long, more platformer than puzzle (especially with the snails). A more complex part 2 would be welcome (and I liked the main character).

Good game but it felt more like a platformer than like a puzzle. In every level with the snails, I had to retry many times, not because I couldn't figure out the puzzle solution, but because I kept messing my jumps
kind of, quote from a previous reply:
that was actually my prototype name, haha! (I swear to you that's not related to any goose out there - look away) but really, i usually call my prototypes or either Project: X when X is a mechanic or Unnamed Y Game, when Y is a character. It was release this way because of the pun with the Untitled Goose Game ~honk~"

Eggscellent game. Eggstremely enjoyable! And now, without more eggregious puns, I eggsit as I entered -- eggstemporaneously.

simple game, interesting mechanics, the only thing that should improve a litle is the health management sistem, cause some times hearths picked if u full healt and u fall in that exact moment the other hearth does nothing i would recomend a following from the heart to the player that when u full the hearths would follow u untill more health is need but just whit 1 space for that or a smoll dellay if the health full the hearth should whait 2/3 seconds before vanish and if the caracter took dmg shoud add up.

I think there is a little bug that causes you to loose two hearts when you land on an edge, couldn't reproduce it though so maybe I'm just a bad egg. Overall a really fun little game!

Oh this was a great game! A bit short but I guess you can just add an Eggspansion in a couple of weeks or so, look forward to seeing more!

I have to agree about the no mute being a negative. Both music and SFX were too loud and while I know that the browser has a mute option, it should still be on the dev's side since not everyone knows about it.

you exhausted the existing simple mechanics and went no further, stopping at the right point in time to avoid boredom while playing. this really is a 5/5 - minute game ;D

I find it weird that A and D make you go forward and back, but W doesn't make you jump, especially since the up arrow key does.

Nice game! I liked the mechanics of it. I did notice on occasion that when jumping up to a platform, if you hit the side of the platform during your jump, you take damage and then take damage again when you land... basically taking 2 damage for 1 jump. Is that intentional?
Hey, thank you!
No, that is totally unintentional, it went through the development unnoticed, whoops! Sorry if that ruined your experience somehow.
Thanks for reporting!
well that's reasonable (:
how did that bother you? loudness? equalization between music and soundfx? or you were listening to your music and didn't want to stop it?
please let me know, so if there is a problem related to this specific game i'd love to fix it (:
also, just a quick info (by no means i'm saying that's equivalent to the in-game mute button):
you can right click your browser tab and select "Mute site".
Cheers!

This was quick (I'd have enjoyed a little more complex puzzles after the sort of learning-on-the-go ones) and quite fun, interesting mechanic! I kind of liked the fact that even landing on a heart as you took damage didn't help; it makes sense and it was another layer of puzzle.

First of all I just want to say I DID enjoy the game, and I thought it was a nice different idea, however, I had 2 issues with it.
1 - I know it's already been mentioned but the game is just too easy, extra more challenging levels would be eggcellent.
2 - I found it quite annoying that if you pick up a heart a fraction of a second after taking damage, it doesn't count it, you actually have to wait about a quarter second before you pick up the heart.
HOWEVER, this is your first game, or at least the first one published on kong, and It's better than a lot of more experienced players games, so good work :)
yay, thanks!!
those egg puns are going out of control, haha
and yeah, the heart-avoidance mechanic didn't come out as I expected, whoopsie, but I think that is part of the learning (:
i'm really looking forward to fix/improve/eggspand this game, i think there's a lot of space to eggsplore and improve.
thanks for the feedback it is much appreciated!

when jumping to a platform if you hit the edge itll take a heart aswell even if you go higher and land on the platform. taking a total of 2 hearts.

Nice game and music!:) I love the concept but i feel like there's something missing, all the levels were pretty simple now (in my opinion) it might be nice to have a way bigger level that's actually more of a puzzle, now it's mainly 'don't pick up hearts if you have not taken damage, and dont jump unless it's neccesary' anyway, keep up the good work!:)
oh sure, nice breakdown btw (:
I get your point, I introduced the mechanics but it lacked a *real* challenge. So probably an Eggstended version would be cool, right?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If you jump and land on a heart it doesn't replace the heart you are losing with the impact. You have to land in front then walk over the heart to get it. Is this intentional?
yep,
it is a kind of counter-intuitive mechanic, you have to take damage before picking up a heart, because it is supposed to heal you, and do nothing otherwise.
came up with everything i could to create puzzles involving a "supportive mechanic" such as a heart (:
was it frustrating? can you detail your experience? it'd be great if we find a way to improve this together!

Nice! Not being able to see the whole area became a little annoying when you had to time your jump with the snails (?)
