Nice little game, but for some reason i managed to get into level 17... when I hadn't completed 16. Finished the full game though!

You can just press space to get back to the title screen from level 24, Tommy. And why do you want to replay level 24, it's not even a real level, just the ending screen. Huh?

3/5 stars. The game would be 5/5 stars except for 3 issues. First, that there is no level select for the last level. You have to beat level 23 to get to level 24. Second, once you beat level 24 you have to refresh the webpage if you want to continue playing the game. Finally, if the chick is standing right beside an edge the game will occasionally think you have fallen and landed causing you to lose a heart when you haven't fallen. Again, other than those 3 things, the game would get 5/5 stars.

If you are very careful in levels 17 and 22, it is possible to use the snail to bounce to the target and not take any damage at all in the level! Not sure if this was meant to be left in the game, but I thought I'd mention it just in case. :)

I like the method/story of the game, like combining a chicken with an egg and lives affecting by jumping. Also those eggs for +live looks cool in graphics, while the ending (lv24+) looks cute and those snails with mushrooms sound innovative too. I like that this jumping-game dont include those "spikes from above"-clichee.

Have tried many times to complete the final level for the badge and cannot as the game mechanics are not there for me, even though it's very obvious what one needs to do to complete the game for the badge and the botd.

What's up with Level 12? I mean, I know I don't have to beat it to complete the game (yay! a skip! I checked the menu! me soooo smart... [eyeroll]), and now it glitches--takes off an extra cracking off (sometimes) after the last health pickup for whatever reason-- so I can beat it, going back (wtf), but if so, what's the point in putting it in the game in the first place?

It's a very well crafted game. To be honest I find this type of game immensely irritating, but I will not let my emotional reaction cloud my objective assessment: well done dev

This game introduced an amazing mechanic I enjoyed a lot. It took a little bit for me to realize what was going on but once I did, it was a breeze. I like how you slip in the new mechanics without going all out and making the game impossible. The puzzles weren't so difficult they were impossible and the game didn't take long to beat at all. I give this a 10/10 on games and have to say it is one of the best short games I've played in a long while!

Several things I noticed: First, starting with Level 7 you need to make sure you don't collect hearts until after you hit the ground as you can't have more than 3 hearts unless you get the extra heart containers in the later levels. Level 8 requires you to leave the ledge you start on and immediately go left so you don't collect the heart until after you hit the ground. Second, Level 1 and some of the stages with Snail Bob can be beaten with more than one heart left. Third, the bonus level where you reach the nest after Level 23 doesn't allow you to jump even though you hear a jumping noise and see your chick jerk upward slightly so you can't die (there's not even a health bar.) And finally, for some reason the second stage with a heart container gave me 2 extra heart containers instead of one when I first did the stage, but after that I only got one extra heart container.
