Beating the levels on 'regular' is way too easy.
Beating them on expert, at least after mission 30ish, is impossible unless you do the send all saves at once and spam bombs tactic. Which gets a bit repetitive. The only way to earn more than base points for the amount of kills, that I have seen, is waverushing, and even with supertowers fully upgraded they can't keep up with it. Multi towers are underpowered, I'd rather see straight up splash damage than the spreading bullet as its only effective if you...send all waves at once and supplement with bombs. Reduce the range and up the damage on it [ think desktop tower TD's bash tower]. I'd also like to see splash damage towers in general for the expert scoring.
All in all it entertained me for awhile going for all expert but the 2nd half of the maps was just 'same old same old'

All levels expert. Super towers are by far the best. spread them out so they arent attacking same tank. got all achievements except highest scoremaster (60,000 in ONE round?!?) and moneymaker(time consuming). Simple TD but there are better out there. Sequel should have more varied maps, and different tanks (only speed and hp change), and more useful, balanced towers. 2.5/5.

IutoSLU, it's supposed to be like that. See, if someone is impatient and MUST get upgrades as soon as they can get them, then it will take longer for them to get maxed. However, if someone doesn't get upgrades at all, it will take longer for them to get the upgrade points. The strategy is to be moderate; don't buy every upgrade, and don't wait too long.

There is a messup with the Upgrade purchases. If you save your money, you can spend $2000 and buy the highest level upgrade. Whereas, if you buy them one level at a time, it will cost you a LOT more money.

This is a very good game to learn defence games on. I enjoy the fact that someone can repeat levels to accumulate upgrades, and the direct and simple nature of it. Much better to start on something like this than to delve immediately into the more involved, and harsher games. 5/5

If you want to earn easy upgrade points, set speed to 3x - the points bonus counts down just as fast as on 1x but the tanks will go by faster.

Previous posters are right... This is just TD... If this were a SC map 10 years ago I wouldn't of given a second play.

Very nice looking game, at least it isn't a slap down rushed game on Tower defense, I appreciate the many tries to make this more original with graphics. However, it simply isn't just graphics that makes a tower defense game well. You need more than graphics. You need originality, i mean unique towers, special features, DIFFERENT gameplay. For speed, you might want to assign hotkeys. The Mini concept doesn't stand out too much. To me, Mini would be one tower, and one upgrade. that's it.

Pokey, it may or may not deserve that (I haven't played it yet), but I think he's saying that because it's UNORIGINAL. There's way too many tower defense games to start with, all pretty much clones. If it doesn't add any new concept, it's not worth it to play.

redbolt, you say it's a 1/5 because you play too much on TD's. If this was the first Tower Defence game, i could pretty much guarantee you wouldn't rate a 1/5. don't rate low just because you're bored.

Once you get the all the bomb upgrades, you can farm Level 20 Expert - about 400 points every 30 secs or so. Just keep using mega bombs at the 3 bends.

This game is a pretty basic TD game. Nothing really special, funny, or cool. Not very many towers or cool upgrades. A descent time-waster for a little bit but that's it. 1/5

One poison tower plus a little patience can clear pretty much every level. Expert scores are challenging, but I don't see any reason to go after them.

Tower Defense games are a dime a dozen these days. This one is fun, but doesn't really do anything new. I also don't like the fact that upgrades are more expensive than new towers. All I do now is litter the board with Super Towers and mash next wave. Maybe later levels require strategy - poison or freeze or actual upgrades but I'm not interested in finding out. Would play fully for badges, but probably not otherwise. 3.5/5

I would recommend some hotkeys for building specific towers and changing speeds. If they already exist I can't find them.

Poison tower seems overpowered so far. It doesn't look like there is a time limit on poison, so by putting a poison tower up front and a few heavy hitters at the end you can clean up easy.

@Bchandark: I meant a pause button that allows the player to upgrade towers. Having a dozen towers with no instant way to check their level and with creeps breathing down your neck is troublesome.

Seydlitz, click the "Menu" button on the top right. Flame wolf, place your tower in the corner, and try to redo the first level until you can buy some upgrades.

needs LOTS more money. can't get past the second level because i can only buy one tower, and dont get enough for another until after i am dead
