Once again, there are probably hundreds of 'falling sand' games and none of them hold copyright over the game style. I don't care if it's this comment, an old one, or a new one, but can people please rate up something that says this blatently obvious fact so there'll be less idiots saying "OMFG THIS IS COPIED!!!". Many thanks :)

alex: It's entirely possible, but I rather implement less complex things first (Like 30 or so items I have in my todo list). That will prepare the game for stuff like player control without too much hacking and slashing =p

Also, I already fixed the flickering red. Lava/Water is proving difficult, as I have to manage the temperature of individual pixels to cool down the lava realistically.

Artash: Seeing as one pixel of water is equivalent to one pixel of ice/steam and viceversa, there's always the same amount of water in the system.

littlebubba8: Yup, that's the cause. Still, it is a bug (Like the flickering red reported by Roland). I'll fix it in a few hours. There are some things about the temperature system that I don't like :S

I think I've got a bug/glitch/whatever: with temperature turned on the screen flickers red, it's kinda annoying so please fix it if you can.

@3nitro It isn't a glitch. That happened because of the new temperature system. Now that heat radiates, water evaporates before it even touches the lava.

everyone who says this is a rip off of some other game, or he's stupid for thinking it's original, is an idiot because if you tiny brain took time to look at the desc. he knows that there are others like it and your just making yourself look stupid for going "0h deres anudder 1 liek d1s maker is gay!!1!" and frankly, this ones better than any of the others

ummmm, i think you have a glitch with lava... i put 3 pixels of lava into sea, you know what happened? Sea completely evaporated! here is picture: http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/1420/sandtest.png

I've seen a lot of these kind of games and I really think this is one of the better, the great thing about these is that you just can keep thinking about liquids or powders to add the possibilities are infinitif, keep up the work 5/5 :) waited a long time for thise kind of games to show up at kongregate

To make corals, pour soil at the bottom any amount will do. Then pour water to make the soil moist.After that, add a tiny drop of seed and you will get corals. :D

todays lesson: history
so kids around the mezozoiucum we had a huge ice age.
But suddenly, around 5 million years ago there came a lot of oil falling out of the sky.
And then there was a great fireball and all the oil melted the ice.
Tommorow we'll see how the ants stopped the lava from destroying the human race.

shouldn lava harden after time? i mean it does, especialy if it is being blasted by wind. oh! and maybe you can add a wind eliment to it?

Thanks for the update but it seems I found a bug about the coral.I can't build an island because coral grew so high until it reaches the top of the water.Once it is fully grown,I can't make an island because the coral grew so big.Can you fix this bug?

sry to opose u apedogmophead but if u had 3rad soil the orad of seed all across it the fill water u will get coral add fish for faster coral

"Temperature" indicates the heat, radiated from an object: e.g. draw oil and catch on fire or draw lava; it will have a red glow: draw steam and freeze it, creating snow, or just draw ice; it will glow blue.

Oh I found out coral.
Coral reef 2.0- Line the bottom with soil [Radius 2], use water draw to half way fill the remaining space, then add the fish. Coral should start growing.
