All I can say is that this is a weird game that seems to have no real end until you're just ultimately destroyed by being overpowered.

strange how on my first game, things went pretty calm and steady but on the second game, enemies seemed to spawn a lot more and rank up faster too. But good game!

I'm usually not a big fan of Bullet Hell games but this one is fun. The bullet blocking is a fun mechanic and the simple visuals and music keep you engaged :D
Maybe the arena could be a bit larger or the POV a bit wider.

@Jakey2wu Sorry, what do VasantJ's (undoubtedly great) games have to do with Cubito Mayhem? You sure you posted the comment under the right game?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For those of you who insult Vasant's games, you are just insecure because you are jealous that you can't make such great games like him. Instead of bashing other people for your insecurities, focus that energy into something productive.

For one, there is a lack of explanation of which are powerups and which are enemies. I just found my guns upgrading randomly and just went with it. Secondly, the view is too small for a shooter, half of the time when the enemy comes in, they are already in your face. Thirdly, the view focuses on your shooter, which when combined with 2nd point, makes it way worse. For me who stay at the perimeter all the time like most people, I only see half the game screen for 90%. If you count in the corners, you just see around 25% of the screen. So essentially we are playing on less than 50% of the already small screen.

Normally not a fan of bullet hells, but found this to be a blast cus of its simplicity (and auto-fire, thank God for auto-fire). No need for fancy cartoon characters, etc., just you and the enemy. Meanwhile, I feel like some sort of point differentiation based on the "difficulty" of the enemy (perhaps based on how many bullets it can fire at one time?) would have felt more rewarding, although at the same tine, I can see how not differentiating is part of the game design's natural progression in difficulty because no matter how powerful the enemy is (nor how numerous), we still only get 10 points per kill. Or maybe this is the intent of the developer, to teach us that no matter what color we are nor what kind of bullets we fire, we are all worth the same on the inside...whoa, just blew my own mind there, thanks for the philosophy lesson.

Got the medium badge on my 2nd run today, I just circle the border and tried to keep my aim in the center for 1905 points, I doubt the hard badge is possible

Nothing is explained except controls. There are pink dots flying directly toward me and I can't tell if they're powerups or enemies.

This was a nice game. The only issue I had with it was that the score took up a lot of the scene space. The size of the game is already small, so the score seemed even larger than it might have otherwise. As more enemies appeared, it made it a bit more difficult to see my reticle. I tried hard to avoid being too close to it.

I don't know how to block bullets. it's not explained in the game notes. Nor, is there any explanation on the screen. To me the 'enemies' come to quickly. The screen is to small to have time to aim, at least for me and I like shooter games.

I laughed when someone called these graphics stunning. Simultaneously people call Call of Duty's graphics horrible and this game's graphics stunning. The graphics are decent. They work. Nothing special. The game is worth 3 stars for a browser game. Let alone compared to all games.

The best strategy I've found for achieving the BotD is to just circle around the edge of the room, with your aiming reticle pointed so you're firing behind you as you go -- you'll avoid most of the shots, since the enemies fire at where you *are* rather than where you're *going*, and the shots that bounce off your stream of bullets will count toward the total and increase your level. I lasted until Level 8 before I finally got killed, which was plenty for the Badge.

Kinda fun, but too easy and quick to lose interest. Could make more clear when the enemies can hurt you and not spawn them so close cause that makes the gameplay just running in circles

Not my typical go-to type of game but I enjoyed it more than I expected. Had to block out everything and focus entirely on moving at all times but by the fourth try I got all badges at once, scoring 4055. I never used the sprint option for the same reason, too focused on not dying.
Great game and I need to mention that the aesthetic helped me focus a lot. Extremely beautiful!

Seems like I got lucky. In my first run I got to 3725 (after I saw the 3600 badge) by going counter clockwise, sometimes stopping in a corner (which was mostly a bad idea). As soon as the bullets become stronger, it gets easier (until half the screen is full of enemies)

ok tips for the hard badge, turn off all the effects and just follow the perimeter and shoot towards the center, try to stay relaxed and don't tense up.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Whoa, what a weird experience this game was. I got the hard badge by going into the corner until I couldn't keep up with the enemies that spawned around me. Then, I started going in circles.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It was very easy to get 3 bagdes at once! Just make sure to make cornering with automatic fire, until you get required score, that's all :P
