I am basically running around the edge of the map while auto firing towards the middle. Feels a little repetitive ...

(part 2)
6)Starting Bullet Power level 3 you get a sphere thing orbiting you. I call that the Knife. Use your knife to kill any newly spawning enemies for safety and efficiency. Spawned enemies will be flashing a bit and won't be attack you for like 0.5 sec.
7)Keep moving! Did I said that already? Well keep moving!! better yet, move on the line to literally minize enemies on screen (offscreen won't shoot you but neither can you to them)
8)In case you need priorities: Pink Suicidal Spirals, then Blue Homing Missler, Yellow Nova, Green Shotgun, the lastly the Orange goons. But trust me, you are most likely to die from Oranges' stray & Straight bullets.

Some personal tips/observations:
1)Tone down the graphic setting is better for fps like archerbob said
2)Use autofire saves your sanity
3)Always on the move, don't stop for too long
4)Your bullets can block theirs, but that's not the purpose, you are to kill them not to block them. The only time you should use bullet as block shield is when moving, e.g. moving only at the direction you are shooting, which literally covers you
5)Enemies don't shoot when offscreen, use this for your adventage, disengage multiple enemies, pick off one by one when possible (later stage you'll see that's gonna be enemies everywhere so keep moving)

Once in the game, press ESC (escape) to get to the Options menu, turn off many of the features to give yourself the best FPS. Then it's just a matter of continuously moving around the edge of the screen in a clockwise or anti-clockwise motion using auto-fire.

Love this game! All the pretty colors and lights make my goblin brain happy. The only thing I don't like is that, since I play with automatic shooting, there's just a constant PEWPEWPEWPEWPEW sound that gets a lil annoying after a while. I wish I could keep the cool music on but just turn off the PEWPEWPEW

It's a good game, but I'll mention here two bugs I found:
1 - I scored 2070 points and I have 730 points in the ranking.
2 - The browser closed twice. I use Chrome.

@HajzlPapir: ikr it was surprising to see! I checked out their Twitter and found this neat article — https://medium.com/@kongregate/rebranding-look-to-your-core-a-product-design-perspective-f49175a2035

Great grahics. Far too diffucult. This captures everything I dislike about this kind of game, having to repeat the same thing hundreds of times just to try and reach the medium badge is far, far, far too much. And I still can't get 500 bullets. There is no strategy that works, it's pure luck and that's not enjoyable. A great shame.

Finally got the hard badge. Sprint on, automatic fire on. Push yourself against the red wall and follow the outside of the map either clockwise or counter clockwise. As you are rotating around the map, aim in front of your character to block spawns. If you run into a larger group, switch directions and keep moving. If you have large groups on both sides, move to the closest corner and wait to clear some mobs. Pay attention to your experience bar when you can, if you level up you regen your lives and boost your weapon upgrade. Once you get the orbs that circle you, you can afford to collide with some spawning enemies, not large groups, just sparse ones. Good luck!

Total Biscuit would be enraged by this. EVERYTHING NEEDS SLIDERS IN THIS, because turning everything off makes it too fast, turning half off makes it jerky, and the default is too slow. WTF kind of satanic programming trick is this?!?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
By far, the easiest way to get the hard achievement is by just camping in one of the corners once the spawns overwhelm your ability to play. I have tried a few different strategies now, and none compare.

Imagine turning off settings in a pixel art 2D game to get more FPS. Pretty much any computer can handle PS3 graphics with ease and that's 10,000 times as impressive as this game where your character is a pixel.

All I can say is that this is a weird game that seems to have no real end until you're just ultimately destroyed by being overpowered.

strange how on my first game, things went pretty calm and steady but on the second game, enemies seemed to spawn a lot more and rank up faster too. But good game!

I'm usually not a big fan of Bullet Hell games but this one is fun. The bullet blocking is a fun mechanic and the simple visuals and music keep you engaged :D
Maybe the arena could be a bit larger or the POV a bit wider.

@Jakey2wu Sorry, what do VasantJ's (undoubtedly great) games have to do with Cubito Mayhem? You sure you posted the comment under the right game?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For those of you who insult Vasant's games, you are just insecure because you are jealous that you can't make such great games like him. Instead of bashing other people for your insecurities, focus that energy into something productive.

For one, there is a lack of explanation of which are powerups and which are enemies. I just found my guns upgrading randomly and just went with it. Secondly, the view is too small for a shooter, half of the time when the enemy comes in, they are already in your face. Thirdly, the view focuses on your shooter, which when combined with 2nd point, makes it way worse. For me who stay at the perimeter all the time like most people, I only see half the game screen for 90%. If you count in the corners, you just see around 25% of the screen. So essentially we are playing on less than 50% of the already small screen.

Normally not a fan of bullet hells, but found this to be a blast cus of its simplicity (and auto-fire, thank God for auto-fire). No need for fancy cartoon characters, etc., just you and the enemy. Meanwhile, I feel like some sort of point differentiation based on the "difficulty" of the enemy (perhaps based on how many bullets it can fire at one time?) would have felt more rewarding, although at the same tine, I can see how not differentiating is part of the game design's natural progression in difficulty because no matter how powerful the enemy is (nor how numerous), we still only get 10 points per kill. Or maybe this is the intent of the developer, to teach us that no matter what color we are nor what kind of bullets we fire, we are all worth the same on the inside...whoa, just blew my own mind there, thanks for the philosophy lesson.

Got the medium badge on my 2nd run today, I just circle the border and tried to keep my aim in the center for 1905 points, I doubt the hard badge is possible

Nothing is explained except controls. There are pink dots flying directly toward me and I can't tell if they're powerups or enemies.

This was a nice game. The only issue I had with it was that the score took up a lot of the scene space. The size of the game is already small, so the score seemed even larger than it might have otherwise. As more enemies appeared, it made it a bit more difficult to see my reticle. I tried hard to avoid being too close to it.
