Music is to short for a single game, there is WAY TO MUCH delay between peice movements. Ive scored 60,000+ by getting a 4096 on the original site for this game. SO MUCH BETTER...

Is the badge relate to the score tor to the 2048 block?! It says I got the badge from a previous play, but I REALLY didn't remember to achieve the block that sums up 2048, that's weird.

why not a medium or a hard one for getting 2048? i don't see the point of adding only a 256 badge if the objective of the game is to make 2048

Badge is up! Why is the image 256 instead of a 2048 square, you ask? Because I suck at this game too much to get a single 2048 square. If you can manage this, please send me a private message with a screenshot and I'll change the image to something less arbitrary!

It is relatively easy to get to 2048 if you try to move all tiles towards a corner and have at least one immobile row with the highest numbers.

Simple ruleset creates a puzzle *game* rather than just a puzzle; you can play it, rather than just solve it. Which is nice.

Once you realize the trick, getting to a score of 10,000 is very easy, and getting a single square to 2048 (2^11) is very possible. The easiest method of getting a high score is to keep your highest squares on one side. So to keep them to the bottom, you NEVER press up (unless forced). For an ever easier time, keep your highest square to one corner.

Easiest way to get 2048: Put your highest square in corner, then put 3 other high squares in single line so it won't move at all and order them from lowest to highest (e.g. 512 128 32 8) as when you add numbers to lowest square in line it will eventually add on to next square in line. If one row is not enougth you can use two rows again; order second row from lowest to highest but in opposite direction to first one (e.g.
1024 256 128 64
4 8 16 32)
You will make your life easy and create 2048 without problems. REMEMBER to keep rows/cloumns full otherwise the '2' or '4' may appear right behind your system and crash it. If you are forced to do this leave the appeared square alone and continue the system.

I'm sorry, but these "instructions" suck. Is it too much to ask to just tell us that you can only combine the SAME numbers? Now that I finally figured that out for myself I feel too frustrated to continue (or really: begin) playing..

I don't know what people are talking about the animation is smooth for me, maybe you just have really really really bad computers?

@ Tsalnor, this is a different game. People complained about that all the time with toss games like Crush the Castle, Toss the Turtle, and Learn to Fly in how one was a rip-off of another. This is a genre, not a single game.
