can't figure out how to get exactly 2048. Got just under, just over and way over. Tired of trying. No easy badge for me.

It must have been 2 years since I last played this game. And in just one try, and I managed to get the 2048 tile! Now I can't remember why I used to think this game was hard as balls before...

For those having difficulty with the board right click then say show all to show the board ...it is amazing the score difference when you can see what you are doing

Um.. there's no place where something is written about how to play this game and what it is about. I know I need to use "arrow keys to move" but move what and where?.... I figured things out after fiddling a little but there needs to be some description about the objective of the game and how to start getting it.

I love the music, sends eerie feelings of sadness but so lively. The game was simple enough but still able to mess up without the knowledge of Math.

There is a need for a a badge of at least 10k. Actually 15k for an "impossible achievement" would be nice as well. (I've gotten pretty close to 15k)

I'm getting lag. I'm guessing there's some major problem somewhere in the code, because there's NO excuse to get any sort of lag in a game THIS simple with even relatively modern hardware.

up, left, down, right, repeat, achievement. I scored more from pressing random directions then when I actually tried to play the game.

Some people added pictures to the original 2048 game, some added additional rows and columns -
PasKuda13 has added LAG.
With all the fun and nice versions out there, it's a shame that this one got the badge.

20336- i wonder if being sleepy and not caring helped? anyway i tried to keep the largest number in a corner down at the bottom and have a pyramid of successively increasing numbers emanating from it- it seemed to work. wasn't able to always keep it in the corner, but at the end i had enough space to work with that i decided to move everything up so i could get around to the other side of it where my 512 number was- and i got lucky

This is a very interesting game of skill and intelligence. also a bit of pure luck.

Would be nice to have badges for achieving 2048, 4096 and 8192. Would give more advanced players a reason to play it on here rather than on other sites.

All you have to do for this badge - assuming you don't want to just play it out, which I do recommend - is push arrow keys as fast as you can in any random order and there is a good chance you'll get at least 2048 which is quite a low score..

Here I am thinking, "Look! A 2048 site with no scores above about 380k! And the bogus scores get deleted fast! They must have some kind of algorithm to weed out the fakes!" Nope. Well, if you thought they had some kind of algorithm to weed out bogus scores, you're wrong. Apparently they just delete anything over 400k or so, whether legit or not...
