this game is a very bad copy pasta from the original game.

Your game should be removed for this.
at least give some credit for the original creator...

If I hadn't played the original I'd probably give it a 5/5, since it's a nice little addictive game concept. But because it's not nearly as smooth I'm guessing this was released in the attempt to try rip some of the fame this game has gotten, rather than just sharing it along in a friendly spirit. So I'll give it a 3/5.

1 star - I don't like knock offs, especially when they're more poorly done than the original. http://gabrielecirulli.github.io/2048/ - play that for a minute and you'll see the difference and never want to play the flash version again.

I presonally believe the original version of this game is superior due to to the smoother movements and color choices.

is this just rip off of to easy cash ? or you got permission to pretty much copy/paste his game . To bad coding is so bad it "frezze" on my PC . Skyrim on ultra works way more smoother

Brilliant puzzle game with some subtle strategy behind it. I suspect a lot of people are put off because it looks like it requires the player to do maths but really it could just be matching colours.

This needs better instructions. I had to press random keys for a while before I figured out. But I managed to get to 512 not knowing what I was actually doing, so I guess I was doing something right.

Excellent of example of simple and fun. This is the pure GAME part of our art form that makes it unlike any other. Sorry to get philosophical, just had a internet argument about games a art.

Once you realize the trick, getting to a score of 10,000 is very easy, and getting a single square to 2048 (2^11) is very possible. The easiest method of getting a high score is to keep your highest squares on one side. So to keep them to the bottom, you NEVER press up (unless forced). For an ever easier time, keep your highest square to one corner.

Not a bad version but the music is like talking a long, relaxing dump on a Sunday afternoon, reading your favorite book or magazine.

What to actually do -> when you push the arrow keys and tiles slide: up down, right, left, they add together if there are 2 of the same number in the direction you are aiming them to. If you pick a direction and no numbers are combined a 2 is added to a random open tile, unless there is no open spot. Game is then over when you can no longer combine meaning no number is next to a duplicate of itself or there is no open tile.
+ to keep this comment alive for those who don't get it.

If you're having trouble, think about real estate. Keep your largest number in a corner and build a path in descending order in a zigzag pattern so that you can compress them into one each time. That way, no matter how large the number is, you have plenty of space to work. What'll really kill you is careless error. The larger you go, the harder it is to recover from it.
