I don't know what it is, but since the Singularity update, my progress has been SIGNIFICANTLY slower than before, even to the point where I can't get to infinity. I've done some challenges before the update, and even then it doesn't help. It's been good since then, but I have to put the game down.

"You have gψ(Ωψ(Ωψ(Ω2ωω2))) (10) Ordinal Points" Why do I get the feeling that if I keep playing these symbols will very gradually change until, at the end, I've just rick-rolled myself?

@emiS3, Dynamic factors reset on incrementry, so if you have auto incrementry on, it will continiously reset. resulting in a base value all the time.

Oh I should have mentioned, you hit infinity at e>999, which is not as bad as it sounds because when your base is 3, 222+1 = 1000 (see my previous comment explaining bases).

An explanation of ordinal markup(2/2):
Except for the last number in your formula, numbers won't go above the base, and when they would, the next highest ordinal is increased instead. The last number is controlled by maximizing. Think of it like counting up to 10 in real life. When you hit 9, there's not a number larger than 9 in the one's place, so we reset it and start over in the next place. This is called base 10. The game progresses by moving your formula to lower and lower bases while you continue increase the size of your ordinal by 1 each time. The lower your base, the faster you get to the next power, which means every time you factor shift, you can maximize your ordinal with one fewer click each time.
The symbol based ordinals work the same way. It increases when the polynomial cannot be expanded more without breaking the base constraint. I'm not sure how the powers work exactly. That could be clearer.

An explanation of ordinal markup(1/2):
Essentially, you have a polynomial function that represents how large your number is. It starts out linear, i.e. Hn (10) = n. Every time you increase ordinal by one, n goes up. Eventually you have H20 (10) = 20, which allows you to maximize your ordinal. This increases your polynomial by 1 so your new formula becomes Hw+n (10). Increase your ordinal ten more times, and you can maximize it again. Your polynomial goes up as Hw^2+n (10). Don't worry too much about what the number equates to. It controls how many Ordinal Points you get when you infinity, but very quickly you won't see it anyway because it is too big to display. Just focus on making your formula go up by maximizing your ordinal every ten clicks.About the number in parenthesis: it refers to the base you are on. This number decreases when you factor shift, but that's a really good thing. (see next comment)

If there was some form of tutorial in how to read the ordinals, especially the non-numerical ones in the second half, and how to compare their rates of increase to see how much progress there is as well as a bar during challenges.

IDK if this is on purpose, but the amount of regular points I get don't get transfered over to the first small omega properly. if the base is ten, I don't get one left over when I have 11 points and scale up to the next omega.

For challenge 3, when you have 79 boosters, it is possible to reset your boosters and buy factor x 2 > OP x 5 > -4 base when over 7 to make the challenge easier

Can you make the upgrades that require boosters but don't cost them purchasable even if you don't currently have the boosters on hand? That may save some frustration for early/mid-game players.

Clicking how to play presents a black screen. Found that there is in fact text there that can be highlighted and read. However there is no visible way to return to the game.

I am in mid of challenge 2 (final part). At this moment I can't even say how much I am lacking to finish it. Equation is so long, I can't even say if it is progressing or not.
I really wish I know how much more it will take...

I have to admit, I can't actually read psiboy18's guide in a way that it makes sense. How do I get 2 manifolds at 22 boosters when you don't unlock manifolds before 108 boosters and 7 challenge completions?

A game of this type that came out at the beginning of May called Synergism supports exponents into at least the millions (eg, 4e5.126M). You might take a look at that, as it took me all of 5 minutes to lose the display of numbers I could understand.

sorry, the "how to" explained, but i can't get them because need one more challenge completion and none seem finishable atm at 205 boosters total. i'm obviously doing something wrong but not sure what.

I don't know how it works with chats for a game, but you should really make a chat for this game so people can share tips, experience and help each other out when they don't know what to do.

Took a few run throughs but finally made a very simple guide for recommended order of challenges, upgrade choices, and booster/manifold numbers.

Am I misunderstanding the first challenge? It says it will be 125x the OP if you have the 5x boost, but I'm only getting 5 OP per click. Same as if I weren't in a challenge.

Started off confused, stayed confused for several minutes... But now I finally figured out what reducing the base by 1 means... Think I'll be playing this for a good while lol.

Tip for those starting out, when you get your first booster buy the first upgrade. When next you hit infinite just hold down the 'I' and 'M' keys to get your next few boosters.

I'm in the early game still, but what's the point of maximizing your ordinal more than a once or twice to enable infinity? Seems like the OP you gain are the same regardless of your ordinal and you can lose OP if you maximize your ordinal prior to going infinity.

Actually, it seems like it's the ordinal points display that's causing everything to wobble, so that's where you would have to look if you were going to deal with this screen shaking nonsense.

Could REALLY use the "how close am I to beating a challenge" indication, as 25bharoldsen has said. I thought I was close to beating this challenge yesterday afternoon. About 20 hours later I'm still not finished.
We're adding the "time until next challenge completion" in the upcoming Omega Challenge Update! It will consist of both a timer and a progress bar, just like the factor boosts.

The screen shaking and quaking as terms are added and removed from the equation feels powerful, but it can also be annoying or inconvenient. Maybe you should set it up so the equation at the top takes up a certain amount of space with or without all the nested superscript, so as to not constantly change how much vertical space it takes up.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Just a little more space between the notation and putting it separate from the rest of buttons and whatnot would do this a lot of good to stop the bouncing.

@SkyCharger001 You probably have bulk boosts turned on, so each time you complete an objective the game automatically starts a new one. At some point, you'll need to collect the OPs to spend them on upgrades.

@ximlafay Do C4 once (use 1-1-1/0-1-1/0-1-1 upgrades) and then you'll be able to complete the step in 15 hours (use 1-1-1/0-1-1/0-0-1 upgrades to maximize bonus from R2C2 upgrade).
