Description

Radiant Escape is a first-person running game with multiple gameplay challenges that takes place in a place called the Arena. You will be wall-running, wall-jumping and maneuvering an obstacle course in one area, while the lights are constantly turning off and on in the next. Navigate through all the levels and make your 'radiant escape' from the Arena and earn your freedom!

This prototype contains lights-off (with pulsing) gameplay, checkpoints, jump and speed boosts and double-jumping.

How to Play

WASD to move, Mouse to look, Space to Jump, Space again to Double-jump.
Goal: Get to the elevator at the end of the level.
Tip: Click on game window to lock mouse cursor. Esc to exit lock.

Would prefer some way to adjust the mouse sensitivity. Also, on the 3rd? level (the one that introduces the jump pads and speed boosts) I overshot the elevator after stepping on a jump pad and I still haven't respawned.

Great game. Like everyone said, tighten the controls a bit. Also, hitting escape doesn't unlock the mouse. I had to hit the windows key and click out of the box to get out.

Very cool 4/5. Just one thing - it feels a little bit "floaty" - if you could modify the FPSController to make the controls a bit tighter it would improve it IMO.

Try increasing the friction, and increasing the acceleration gained when the player "moves". That might help some, and stop it from feeling like you're walking on ice. As for the player, at least add some "feet" so I can tell where I should put myself.

Nice game, there's a lot of potential, but like others have said, mouse sensitivity needs to be adjusted and air movement seems a bit strange. On the second level, if you wiggle around at the beginning, you can fall through the corner of the pad and onto another part of the level.
