O_o Bosses 5,6,7, & 10 apparently had popcorn fever. They spammed the hell out of the popcorn bombs during one of my runs :/

For the API, please make it so that it doesn't autoload your all time best for the Today tab whenever you go to play the game.

seem like a bug: first, i played in firefox to boss 23~ and then i play in chrome w/o close firefox with same account. then my boss in firefox return to stage 1 and i'm still same upgrade as stage 23.

If I had to give this game a score I would say 8/10.The only thing I didnt like was how after every level the boss gets a new upgrade but you can only pick from three. It was a good game anyway

You can select your own controls. Anyone who's ever played Megaman X on an emulator will have a hell of an easier time using the shoot/jump/dash combination.

A game where you have to read the instructions to actually start it :D good idea xD now no one can complain on how to play......except for those who cant read,4/5 good game but gets a bit repetative and i noticed some bosses teleport above u and only shoot up so its like a free kill :p 4/5 great game

controls are akward and hard to get use to, i like the retro megaman style, but it got boring by the second third level for me,

@raptor54321 There is a mute button! And volume control. Press 'M' to mute and press '+' or '-" to adjust the volume.

Whoo top of the board! Those comments critiquing the controls are outdated; you can customize it now! Set your controls to WASD to move and JKL to fight and you'll be set...but, can you beat me??

@Cauliflower101 - Try a new strategy. If you're focusing on bullet power, lay low for a bit. Focus on dodging attacks and increasing your max health. If you're fights are taking too long, try obtaining more bullet power to reduce the amount of time in the ring, and the number of opportunities the boss has to hit you. Each boss develops on how you play, so there is no right or wrong answer. Find the play style that works best for your skillset.

I like the concept, though it took me awhile to think my bullets were doing anything. It's good to see another game by you Auston, since Eve, cause that was a lot of fun. Glad to see you still making games my friend.

if you'd like to see a boss learning curb setting added to the options, to make the game more manageable for players who arent used to this type of game + this comment, i can get to 12 myself, but some players might not be as good with this type of game so let's be fair

@ PinkUnicornZach: The different colored bullets can give you different status effects at higher levels. Check out the instructions screen on the main menu for details.

Another thing, I found myself taking 200+ seconds on a boss simply because I couldn't hit him. The boss was always in the air atleast 2 times higher than my jump. The bosses do learn. They learn how to camp.

I suggest a 25% health regeneration without having to waste an upgrade. If you don't upgrade early you end up being screwed over.

its ok, controls are wacky and fighting boss after boss isnt fun. It need some kind of stages to level off of not just the bosses.

Nice music, Retro-Pixel graphics (which I love), and an awesome style of game! One thing, though, maybe the controlls could have been made a tad bit simpler. At first, my fingers were all over the place, trying to remember which key did which!

Review. The controls are weird, but it's manageable, one gets used to them pretty quick. The first fight seems to take *way* too long compared to the ones after. Music is good, game is nice, the bosses get horribly difficult once they get the fishes and the duplicate ability... An excellent game in my opinion. 5/5.
