i am godlike now :P lvl 219ish and 5k mana :P i can 2hit any regular monster in the secret lvl and the only thing that makes me go HOLY COW! is the champion cow :P

Demo update:

I played this game a wile ago and really enjoyed the simplicity of it all, it's also nice to see the developer of the game working on the sequal and updating a forum post with info regularily, as well as posting in the coments!

For all those who don’t have the collab thread in their favorites (and who would), TextRPG 2 is progressing nicely. Most of the code behind the scenes works, and I’m on my way to basic demo in a matter of DAYS. Hmm. I hereby PROMISE to deliver a demo THIS YEAR. DUN DUN DUUUUUUUN

the one hit kills are pretty annoying though, on quest 16 it's crazy long, you'll need all kinds of potions or strong healing spells and hells heat keeps hitting me for 1200 damage on normal. Kinda makes it seem like the game's a little broken there.

@antkins - You got one-hitted. Increase your HP to prevent such a thing from happening...
And remember: no amount of healing offsets a OHKO.

glitch sometimes when you click something like a cast spell the game will sense that u clicked twice and cast something that u dont want to i thought it was my mouse at first but it never did that on anything else or other games

Um... great game and all, but "Sancre Tor" is an undead dungeon in Oblivion.... the armor sets are the same as Oblivion... you could try to be unique.

Holy SHEET! I thought this would be another one of those "Not worth playing", "Lame" "unworthy" games. But YOU, my friend! Have done a masterpiece (even by my standards), I'm going to rate this 5/5. adding pics of different monsters would be l33t and also I'm truely impressed.

This game is the best game ivep layed in a while and its addictive. The music is good for the first bit and gets boring. The story line tho is so good it has so many twists and turns. Secret dungeouns side missions all that makes this game great. In 2 I bet its gonna have pictures and classes and I cant waittttt 5/5

Mage is better than warrior, for one thing, you don't have to buy potions, and the healing spells are much more powerful anyways

Only real complaint I have is the fact that dying during a 'quest' resets the quest, even if you save in the middle of the quest.

I reckon this game was boring from the very start but it got interesting about 3 monsters in, now im addicted (they should have a quitline for this game - lol)

2 things. First, to beat the ultimate boss you'll need around 300 int and the best cure spell. A warrior just won't make it. Second, cows seem to damage you regardless of armor. I have no armor or shield equipped and they deal 20-300 damage to me.

At level 7 Mage in Impossible I have best staff (Arce Stava) and best armour (Arce Armoura).
I think this game is a bit too easy from here (except probably very late game)...

By the way, mages are so much stronger than warriors... I just started training on magic and with 80 int and 130 str my spells do more damage than my power attack. Magic is also the only way to beat the ultimate impossible boss (won't spoil the name) because you need a very good heal.
