Instead of locking, just let me pick a set of pieces to move together (for instance, by holding down a key and clicking on all the pieces I want to include).

I wonder if it would be possible to create an actual puzzle like this in real life that you could hold in your hands. :) You could have a button or remote or something to change the live picture that's being displayed. :D

Have to say, this gam really wasn't my cup of tea. All the pieces looked the same to me. I hope other enjoy the game though.

One of the most creative puzzle games there is. Amazing. Also, for the locking mechanic, just give an option to turn it of an on.

Hard mode is quite challenging, but like others have said, levels 3 and 4 are fairly trivial in comparison to the other puzzles. Cool game, I don't like the auto-locking though. Instead of that, maybe make the "puzzle borders" less obtrusive? A lot of detail is lost in the borders especially when you divide it so many times.

great game love the idea but i agree there should be a difficulty setting which doesn't allow auto-lock. also the music is horrid (better than nikki minaj) but still terribly annoying

I have to agree the autolock feature is too easy. I solved every puzzle without ever looking at the preview except for the flower-one. Just put the pieces where you think they go and instead of having to observe if they fit just fiddle around with them until they lock. Maybe have 2 different gamemodes, easy and normal. Easy keeps the locking mechanic and normal removes it.

Oh god, the music! The horrible, HORRIBLE music!!!
Oh wait, there's a mute button!
Seriously, though, what's with the music? The same terrible tune as in the first one. It takes about ten seconds before it starts to grate on the nerves.

Excellent little game with a very original idea (a bit of a rarity these days) - good music, nice graphics and a good interface (as long as you have enough honour not to cheat! ;) Overall excellent and definitely worth a play :) - keep up the good work :)

I think the majority of the puzzles are too plain. It's too hard to figure where pieces go without the need to compare every piece to another.
The only one I enjoyed playing was the gears one. The space on was okay because of the perspective.

cruel cruel game once i stopped playing my eyes hurt so badly 1/5 for you.......................................................nah just joking good game but very disorienting 5/5

I really need to suggest you think about slowing down the car's racetrack level. It is very tough to do that one for people prone to motion sickness!
Making players want to vomit is not a good thing.

The Difficulty setting is not immediately apparent. If you go into the menu, you can give the puzzles more or less pieces. Hard mode looks pretty crazy. The pieces are tiny.

Ok, I guess I'm not the only one who quickly realized why the locking mechanism might not work out so well. I understand why it's there and at first glance it appears to be a good idea, but the problem is that the main way one solves a puzzle is by being forced to wait to see if a piece is in the right location via the movement of the background. That's really the main purpose of the game, no? As such, adding in the locking mechanism pretty much defeats the very purpose of the game, as rather than being forced to wait to tell via the puzzle itself you can just tell by whether or not the pieces lock together. So good idea, but it doesn't work so well in practice.

D: i never normally get affected by these kind of things, but level 2 and the dasies made me feel really dizzy.. ergghhh

The way you implemented snap together and group moving makes the game easier to play but it also kills the difficulty.

Maybe make the locking manual, instead of automatic. With automatic locking it's too easy to cheat. Or add an option for manual/automatic/no locking, with influence on the score.

Sorry, but I actually liked the first one better. For me, locking correct pieces together removes half the challenge, plus the puzzles just don't appeal to me like the first ones. But it'd be a dull world if everybody liked the same thing. Hope others like it.

Very nicely done, though I'm fairly sure the difficulty multiplier shouldn't be the same for all the puzzles, 3 and 4 in particular seem easy compared to the rest.

Live Puzzle was a pretty cool game, and you've just made it better by listening to suggestions; particularly locking correct pieces together! Thank you, PipkinGames, you're awesome!
