I will PM you and ask for some details. You should definitely get points with your first soft reset, it's not possible in the game to unlock that building without having some 'locked' Ancient Artifacts first. So this might just be a bug. Also the cost for upgrades should be shown when you mouse-over any raider upgrade or Ancient Wisdom upgrade.
Not for now - most of the monsters don't have an associated in-game name yet (just 'in our heads'). What's the specific prophecy you're having trouble with? Most of them don't require specific monsters (only one comes to mind, actually), but they often require a certain member of your raiders to get the last hit or something similar to that, which might make it seem like the kill counter only increases sporadically or slowly.

Been encountering a lot of 'random soldiers getting stuck in base' when I take them off auto and maualy lead them from farm to raids. normaly they get stuck across from the river and then the raid wont start

I just built the Ancient Wisdom building and pressed reset, didn't get any upgrades for it, only restarted as lvl 1.... Great job so far on this ''awesome'' game.......
You don't get 'upgrades' for soft resetting, just the points to buy upgrades. But similar to other idle games, you farm these during the previous run, and the ones you have farmed are unlocked when you soft reset. You get a certain amount of points per each raid boss you kill, and points for beating every tenth farm level (for the first time since the current soft reset). We should make this a bit clearer somehow.

had it happen 4 times now the save system seems to be broken.. when I come back I always get the message that the save was corrupted. and it clears my game.

Progression grinds to a near-halt pretty quickly early on. Gold doesn't scale with enemies on farm maps, so gold-based progression halts because you can't really farm raids due to the ridiculously long timer and an inability to progress to raids beyond the first without repeating the first incessantly for loot.
This has to do with what progression in this game is all about. It's less about endlessly ascending farm maps and raider levels, and more about seeing how your raiders slowly advance in a raid or are able to clear it faster. Also it opens up a lot once you unlock more and more of the game's features. However early game progression is a common complaint right now, we'll probably have to tweak some things.

I built three of each tents, and it's only showing two tiers of buffs for everything, except warriors tent, which is at the correct level

Fun game, but way too much wrong with it that you need to fix. First is the annoying regen of all the mobs making it nearly impossible to make any sort of progress, remove it or lower it substantually.. Second is I'm stuck on lvl 51 and not getting any xp at all.. If it is the max lvl then you need to increase it. Third is the dumbass clicking damage, it is totally useless since it only does 1 dmg per click and the mobs after farm map 2 regen way to fast for it to be usefull.. Remove it and make so you can focus on a single enemy instead of all raiders running around hitting different enemies and not killing them thanks to that reg. Then lastly it's the amount of gold you get per enemy, which is 1 on every farm map so far.. You need to increase it atleast by one per map. Oh, and the xp amount doesn't seem to increase either on the maps, fix that please =)
Thanks for the feedback. Wow, I posted a huge reply but it didn't seem to post it, it was probably too long. Put as shorty as possible: 1. regen is an anti-scumming mechanic, so you can't enter/hit once/die/repeat to clear farm maps 2. from lvl 50 leveling is slower but gives 4x the stat bonuses. conceptually it's like hitting max level in an MMO, with veeery slow levels as a bonus cherry on top. main progression will be with loot. 3. clicking is just for the very first two or three farm maps. later, we'd rather have players use those clicks to play around with equipment and skill builds 4. farm maps are for XP, most gold you get will be from raids. xp does increase with farm map level!

The game seems very slow which i like, but i'm curious how for do you have to progress before you soft reset? And what exactly do you get when you soft reset?
I won't spoil the exact moment you unlock it, but it's not end game stuff or anything. You will basically get a new building at some point that can be used to soft reset. Soft resetting itself is required to gain access to the ancient artifacts you have farmed in one 'soft-reset' run. Those are used for many things, like Ancient Wisdom (our permanent upgrade system), Raider Upgrades, later on for crafting, and some other stuff. In general when you unlock a new feature of any kind, it's usually connected to a Prophecy that will be entered into your Book of Prophecies
You'll need to gear up a bit! Farm the first raid for a while, also make sure to build a Scholar's Tower for skill books, and a market that sometimes sells equipment as well!

Monsters from summoning items. got an item that summons an erfeeti, used it during a raid, and the screen changed to my farming map, showing the monster there.
Moving? Mhm... besides deleting and rebuilding it, no. You're right, it would be a nice feature. We'll add it to the to-do list. But I want to note that, later on, you'll probably have more than enough gold to relocate some buildings if they aren't placed as nicely as you would like.

Dont know if this has been done on purpes. But theres a gigantic spike in difficulty in farm map from nr.3 > 4+. Even at soldier lvl 50 and with most passive buff buildings in base I still dont see how it's worth fighting anything higher then farm map nr.3. Since everything on a higher map takes ages to kill. And therefor you get much more gold/exp if you just stay on map nr.3 - Kinda broken if you ask me
The spike is intended. You'll see it gets much easier once you gear up from raid 4, which is going to take a while, I know, but that's also intended. The game is sectioned off into different 'raid tiers' (the first of which encompasses raids 1 through 3) and the idea was that you'd stick with the same couple of farm maps while you are working on your current raid, until you can beat it and have geared up enough (or unlocked other stuff in the game) to be able to beat higher level farm maps fast enough. Also note that at some point we introduce mechanics that make it worth it to try and get to the highest farm map possible anyways (even if you can't really farm them because it takes too long). For example, every tenth one you beat gives you certain bonuses (the Prophet in your base can tell you all about it). edit: also, farm map balance can be tuned if too many players find it disruptive, of course.

Gold drops can't be working properly for farming monsters. Lvl 3 monster drops 1 gold and has 22hp. Level 9 monster has 910hp drops 1 gold also... Unless I'm missing something, there's no point farming anything higher than lvl 3.
Gold drops from farm monsters do indeed stay the same. But higher level farm monsters give more XP! A large part of your gold income is going to come from raids. That's roughly how it's split, farming = lots of XP/minute, little gold/minute. Raiding = lots of gold/minute, little xp/minute.
Gaining gold will speed up a bit when... well I'd rather not spoil anything. In our internal beta we actually had the problem that Gold was a bit too easy to acquire, so we introduced some additional gold sinks in the late game, and will introduce more with future updates.

Hi everyone. Kongregate has set up a forum for the game if you'd like to discuss anything in more in-depth: http://www.kongregate.com/forums/615157-idle-raiders-second-run
Summoned, as in from set bonuses later on? Or the necromancer mercenary? Or just regular monsters? The monster spawns on farm maps and whatever is in the raids are completely separate, so yes that would be intentional.

I like the game. There is a bug in town when you try to bomb the dirt near the water, it disapear but you can't put dirt back on or anything... Leaving a weird square with a spot of dirt/water in the middle.
