Something that needs fixing: if you go on a raid, and it finishes while you're looking at your base, you can't pick up the loot :\

I don't think the shopkeeper should go away, it is annoying to have to wait for him to come back. It's suppose to be an idle game so sometimes I just check up on the game and most of the time he isn't there when I check.

So far, so good on the game. I'm enjoying this!
My only concern is that when you send your raiders out to raid, they split up, rather then stay together to protect and help one another. Just now, my priest (?) went one way, and the warriors went another. Naturally, the priest ran into the enemy first and was promptly slaughtered, which meant the warriors had no support.

@Jado I have all Hitstreak books on my Warriors, Archer have 5 Hitstreak and 5 Multishot and Healers just have all Healing books. With the Archer combo I found that my Archers are ridiculously OP at the moment and just annihilate the first 2 raids but in saying that all my characters are level 100+

Aloha, since the new patch I won't find any healing potions, my inventory is full of scrolls and stuff but no potions. Anybody else has this problem?

I love this game, I think the third raid is a little low on difficulty though considering the second. It would be nice to have a way to dispose of unwanted/unneeded items, selling or trashing would both be great additions. I also look forward to seeing new farming maps that provide a little more experience per kill, it goes from one to two at the third map and never increases after that, not even in the raids where the mobs are significantly stronger. It would also be nice to see some new classes or prestige classes as at a certain point the game becomes a wait for them to survive the raid and go farm again situation. You definitely have something new here, the concept is different from any idle game I've ever played and I look forward to its evolution in the future.

Grabbing more items than your inventory can hold causes them to appear below the grid. Also, every once in a while, when doing the second raid, my healers randomly try to go to the start of the map (far left) for no reason. When they get there, they turn around and go back into the fight...

A way to get rid of the drops we dont want would be nice. Bag is full.. cant sell and they're cluttering up the farming.

Its impossible to get a highscore. There is no enemy who live long enough vs my lev 125 full skilled Raiders ;D.
I still have fun. Keep up the good work :)
Someone wrote me that they are doing a new savegame where they make a specific build in order to try to beat the hitstreak highscore. He told me the build but I probably shouldn't spoil it for competitive fairness :D That's insanely cool from my perspective, because I didn't even consider that possibility when I implemented the highscore for testing. Seems to add a ton of replay value to the game for some players. I guess I'll get on it and add some more highscore statistics, but this time ones that are a bit harder to beat :D

Very awesome game!!!!! Love the concept!!!! Definitely one of my favorite idle games thus far. I am looking forward to its development in the near future. Keep up the amazing work!!!!!

Hey pitforest, since everyone will have huge level on their raiders soon. Why don't you downlevel all of us when you make a big update with new content and give us some reward depending on our level (average from all of the raiders)?
Yeah, I already noticed this, some people are sending me savegames with crazy stats on their raiders. I have no idea how to handle the next content for these people, if they continue like this they're going to one hit all of the new bosses :D I'll figure out something.
That's pretty insane. Should I nerf the drop rate? :D Also, you seem to be on an older version of the game. Before you refresh the site, better remove all healstreak passives from warriors and archers, and all multishot passives from priests and warriors. After that, export your savegame as a backup. Because otherwise, some users were experiencing a bug that broke their savegame before I pushed an updated that fixed it. If something goes wrong, email me (using the bug report feature on this site, or the email I state on the developer log reachable via the button ingame) and I'll try to fix it!
For now, yes. I put up the game last friday as a very early look at the gameplay, just to see how people react( I didn't expect many players for such an unfinished game), so there's not a lot of content in it. Of course my plan backfired and now the game has 60k+ plays in no time. But, did you beat the raids yet? :D

i guest there's nothing after pubulum pit,
it's a really nice start for an Alpha.
i'd like to see some subclass for each type.
healers turn into witch or priest - archer turn into bombers or snipers - warrior turn into knights or assasins
like this, we can build a team, as we like.

May I suggest a button that levels up everyone at the same time? I like to keep everyone on the same lvl even though it gives benefits to level them up instantly.

A way to manually sort inventory or buttons to sort inventory by type? Or a scroll bar for inventory. after being afk for the night i had so many items on the floor i had 3+ rows i could not click on and it was hard to throw out items i did not want cause i could not click on them

+ smaller but more rapid heals would be nice and help the -why-overheal-the-barely-injured-letin-others-die problem too. Like that the healers would be healers for real and not random potion-givers for the wrong person or at the wrong time.

I dont usually comment on Kongregate, but when i do it's a great game!
Credits to you Pitforest for truly creating a game with so much potential! Looking forward idle-raiders development! /insert cake

Almost all heroes have 130 level. Raids can be defeated without using items. Inventory overflows. I just have not enough skillbooks. Now waiting for the update :)

some suggestions for future updates:
1- a way to give direction to your raiders on the field, either by setting an aggro range, but to return to a specific point when no enemy is near as a group, or by giving each individual unit orders (this way you could have most of the group stay still, and have one warrior with several speed boosts equiped go lure mobs back to the group, through manual clicking because i assume that would be too hard to code to do automatically)
2- giving each raider a toggleable tactic, for example to turn the healer into a purely defensive unit, reducing the cd on heal by 25%, but no longer attacking, archers could have the time between attacks increased, but the damage and range increased aswell, and warriors could have more defense/hp but deal less damage, and for all three classes have the second option to be as they are now (if you plan on implementing classes like someone else said, then this option is moot, but if not its an easy add in)

My guys hit too hard there is no way i can get a longest hitstreak, even bosses die within 15 odd hits from each hero

Please make consumables stackable in inventory. It get's ridiculous when I have 200 consumables each taking up their own spot, and need to consume something before I am able to see the last item I picked up.

I like it but one thing: there is not enough difference between the three type: Mage have the same HP than a Warrior, the same attack, etc...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Great game, but the first thing I noticed is the difficulty curve is awful, most of the time I have to retreat 3 times before killing the next staged enemy. Other than that, it's a super fun game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
game had potential, guess he released it too soon. Not enough raids, not enough equipment. Needs Tiers / epics / legendaries, more classes, mix / matching, item drops need work, UI is clunky .. good concept but gets boring fast 4/10

Great game in my opinion. A few changes I would like to see are a sortable inventory, the ability to specify one priority healing target for priests(like the main tank), and the ability to have all dps focus on one specific target to focus fire instead of 3 on one target, 4 on another, and 3 on another.

maybe make an icon for when a merchant is in your base. and also can you please add more gold usses cuz it's quite useless having like 10k gold.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Lazerus - open inventory, open characters (the two buttons on the right). click on the skill book, move it to an ability spot on one of your characters.

A thought on additional content: Base Improvements, i.e. healer's tent; heal faster when you are back at base, training center, mine etc. These could also be random drops or raid rewards or purchased with gold.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Maybe add bonus to each 10 levels ?
Like add speed of attack/shot/heal/hp ?
or like swordman --lvl 25--> knight --lvl 50--> crusader ..etc

Enough green and brown scrolls to wallpaper my base. In the meantime the countless hours of farming have yielded one single other non-scroll drop.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Lots of gold and when the merchant shows up he only ever has one item for sale. Seems a bit out of balance, unless there are other uses for gold I have not yet discovered.
There are more expensive items as well (what he sells is a bit luck dependent), but still when you average it over some time, it's true that it's still a bit unbalanced. There will be more "gold sinks" in the first content update that's coming sometime near the end of the week!

suggestion: easy way to make an assassin class.... change the speed skillbook to increase attack speed as well as movement speed? :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It would be nice if you could add option to upgrade Riders base. Then with each upgrade it would change look from run down to more castle like. And thous upgrades could add for example minor buffs like faster healing in base, increased money, exp or drop rate. It would also make spawn merchant more often and even add blacksmith with other NPC. This would add this felling that you base is important and you also need to take care of it. There could be mob ride from time to time as you progress. So there would be need for defenses...
