Sry, wasn't Rage of Mages i ment. Its another one, where you build the base and recruit the heroes and then they fight on their own, buy equipment etc. Only way to influence them is to set bounty. Can't remember the name though...

you made a high potential game! Really nice.

I like the concept of the second Rais, where you have to gather items of the first boss to kill the seond one. It would be nice if you make more raids where you have to think-and-adapt to the raid. Like a suicide First Boss who kill all Raiders instantly, but if u equip a raider with 5x tome of speed only he gets killed and the other raiders survive. Would give the game a strategic nuance.

A few suggestions:
At least one more equipment slot- one for weapons and one for armor/jewelry possibly.
-Idle mode perhaps with fewer item drops but with auto item pickup
-A Thief class that increases item drop rates and does auto item pickup
-A Quick sort Item "button"
-The ability to sell items.- I have a ton of swords from raids!!!
Castle upgrades:
- A Forge that allows you re craft or combine multiple items with perks
-Infirmary that quick heals a limited number of charters
-Stables that would allow characters to return to raids after dying
-Vault to store extra items.
-Drop bin to place items for auto selling to the merchant.
Just suggestions but as I mentioned awesome job thus far!!!

I have to say I didn't really enjoy this game. While the levelling up was pretty good ( and that's really something these days), there were other issues...such as the fact that you constantly have to check base and field for items, while these are games one usually plays while doing other things.

I really like this game. Nice work so far. It's kind of in a Genre of it's own as far as an Idle RPG and very unique in gameplay- brings me back to the Dragon Warrior/Zelda top down RPG days. There's something VERY familiar about the trees in "The Woods" and "Dead Forest" Levels. "Link to the Past" I think. Nice touch. Keep it up- I really like the progression of updates thus far.

Would love to see you expand on the classes. For example, instead of all of them having the same HP and damage at a specific level, have the "knight" with more health. This way they would work like a tank character and give more individuality to the classes.

I would love this a lot more if the adiers level up on their own and gathered and equipped items they found. Make it something like Rage of Mages (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rage_of_Mages)

2 small convenience ideas re-arrange inventory so its a little neater, clear items on the map say if i go afk and come back to 90 items and only want some of them

so I finally managed to equip books:
1. press on book
2. press on any desired skill slot
3. to unequip press little x on each book top-right corner

You made this game already good and enjoyable for an alpha version.
As you planned you need to add more content now that the concept is validated : maps, mobs, items, hideout evolution.
Don't rush too much as one of the most important thing there is to keep a good balance of difficulty.
Keep going on great game !

I seem to be getting a flood of gold, but only 1-2 books each time the merchant appears. I buy every book and i'm still up to 6k and rising

well i know in a real raid group a bunch of this dumb targeting by your raiders and healers would not pass in a real raid group but this aint a real mmo raid group now so yeah but it would still be nice if you can tell them to do certain things at times cause they do some real stupid shit at times

Ok, sorry. The skillbook bonuses DO stack. And the movement speed bonus does work, it's just that raiders block each others movement.

SUGGESTION: you could also make attack/heal cooldown bars so we could know if we need to use heal item or our priests gona make it in time

It would be nice to have a button to control the behavior of some team member. For example for priests: "Only heal", "heal and attack", because sometimes it's really annoying when they attack other mobs while they should heal the dying team member. And also add the ability to assign the raid leader, so that the other members will follow him no matter what will happens.

I have no idea if healing is random or not. I seem to always have a person near death still on the field, not being healed.
It's not random, it's just not very smart. It's a classical programmer feature: The priest just goes through a list of all raiders internally, and picks the first raider who doesn't have full HP as a target. However, that list is always sorted the same way, so especially raiders on the bottom are somewhat disadvantaged by this. Will change this as soon as I can get around to it!

Hrm i not so sure about gaining an attack point every 5 levels its too slow a increase for attack especially with the exponential increase in exp needed per time.

A bit tedious start but after your raid gets going the game just gets better, a few suggestions for AI: warriors and rangers should choose closest npc always or if there's allies in battle, go to them. Priests should heal first and never iniate combat unless they're alone, also they should heal themselves if no one else needs healing.

1)different color for each warrior so I can tell them apart 2) Healer priority , I wish they could heal my most wounded one and not attack the enemy.
