Also sometimes my healers just run away from battle :/ not that they're important at all anymore really with how fast everything dies and how much hp my guys have, but just a bug I've been meaning to mention. Especially seems to happen on raid 2, when nearing either boss the mage goblin or dragon

everybody is at 155 and fully decked out, and still can't stop myself from running this game in the background. Great job so far, looking forward to more updates.

Something else you could try doing is a rebirth/class change system for your troops. This way it'll add more replay value and you'll get the extreme pleasure of roasting the enemy with this stat boosted class from so many rebirths/class changes.

So all are lvl 100 ... all have either 8 heal books, 8 "multishot" books, 7 hit books + 1 swiftness book ... only 3 raids all have red +hp armor from the final raid, what now ?
Still idiot healers or hunters run in 1st, all are identical ... i did like the game, but now its just standing still

I think the Skillbook: Multiple Shots can proc off of itself; with seven or more of them on each ranger, they pwn the two extra bosses in Dawn Fortress Throne Room.

Awesome game, my favorite game by soooo far, but i think that could be something like better AI or a way to tell where should be every character, its sad to see the priests tanking damage while knigths were supposed to.

Wait, the Space Altering Scroll doesn't just increase the attack of all allies for 5 seconds, it increases the attack of EVERYTHING for 5 seconds. Now I want to be able sell these things even more (I won't drop them, though).

Some observations: Books stack. Weapons don't. Make warriors fastest to absorb hits, healers 2nd fastest to heal warriors. Thank you @Subtor for the farming tip: 2nd to last room is definitely better than the Pabalum Pits. :)

another idea would maybe implement a system where u can convine 2 of the skill books to increase the % by like 1% each time (so its not to op) but they have to be of same type same thing with equipment to even maybe

To add on to Sanchimaru, it would also be nice if healers and archers would run away from enemies as well (not interrupting their attacks - actually, you can make attacks interrupt running).

Nice little game. I realized that swordmen push bowmen when advancing towards the enemy, thus rendering the ranged attack useless. That would be a nice fix.

It would be nice if I could trade my findings to the trader for gold. Though some people might want otherwise, I would also like it if they aren't put in stock when sold.

I just farmed thousands of gold coins. Trader comes in with 5 books for sale. I buy them all and equip them, then complete the Crypt raid. Trader is still there for some reason. Come on, leave and get some new books. If you want my coins, don't just stand there, go get something and I'll trade you my coins for it!

EDIT: You could make the world map mode just a map that shows the areas, but not heroes and enemies - the movement is still the same, and you can get from one place to another quickly without running through the entire area. When you click on an area, you can see what the enemies in the area are, and if you click the enemies you can see their stats.

Since there are paths like that, I was wondering if you could make some kind of world map mode (optional) that shows every area at once, which you can move around. However, heroes will only go to the area you tell them to farm in, and enemies will stay in the area they spawned in. This could cause problems with movement, though.

I really like how you made slight changes in background in each area, to show what the next area will be like (Like in the woods, there's a pathway of orange trees, and in the path to eternity, there's some sand).

@ sharrynuk open your inventory the bag thing above reddit. Then open your raider skills and equipment the armor looking thing above the bad thing above reddit. You should see equipment area and skills area for each raider. click your item in inventory and click the equipment square for the raider you want to equip to.

Could you reduce click power, but add upgrades for clicking? Also maybe some items that can be destroyed by clicking.

After my first raid, I picked up some sort of ... knife? I'd expect that to make my damage go up, but it didn't seem to. I also don't see anywhere I can equip things.

Hey dev, why not make 10 medics? Is it because it is too op? It will be hilarious and op at the same time is you can make that version of the game, oh btw make some rewards for all the hard work we make like cheat codes(just "ban" the people who post answers) IF this is added, theres going to be a LOT of challenge going on for the other versions.

I am reading the developer log...I love this so much! Its not often someone makes a game so good that in its beta, it gets this love, not to mention the developer log, giving us info on how things are going! Thank you for this, and your efforts!

It would be nice if you could buy upgrades for/at the fort. There isn't much use for gold after a while. I like the game so far. Hope it keeps getting better!

it be nice if the merchant actually sold more than one item each time he comes, i hate that he only does this if you miss the times he showed and just has the items you happen to miss on his previous visit.
