I'll try to clarify about stacking skill books. Skip point 2. if you hate math.
1. Skill books do stack, but give diminishing success rate bonuses (so that you can't reach 100%).*
2. Given p is the percentage of a single book, and n the number of books, total percentage bonus (or success rate) is calculated more or less as follows. 1 - (1 - p)^n (stacking formula given on the game's Reddit page, unconfirmed)
3. Although giving diminishing values, skill-books that give chance of another immediate action become more valuable together. Having five Healstreak books you have a chance lower than half to get it to trigger twice in a row. Having ten Healstreak books will trigger 6 times in a row more than half of the times, before going to cool-down.

loving it, would like more item slots for raiders, only one and only having a 50% health or 50% damage boost is a bit dull :p.

To be honest, I would love the option to customize my base and deck it out with cool things. You could implement it and also give your raiders stat bonuses.
Yes, this is on my roadmap as the first really big gameplay I'm going to add (not in the first content update on sunday, but probably in the next big update after that) :)

Really super little game with a lot of potential. You really should have more equipment slots per raider (or just don't have the weapon be separate).
Examples of items you should add to the game as random drops - meant to illustrate ideas for things you should include:
Lizard Slayer Amulet - Raider gets x2 damage bonus against scorpions
Goblin Buckler - Raider gets +1 armor (reduce enemy damage by 1)
White Cape - Raider's healing cooldown is reduced by 25%
Golden Ankh - After dying in a raid, raider can return to battle one time at 50% health
Trickster Boots - Raider has a 20% chance to negate damage from an attack
Charm Pendant - Shop prices are reduced by 10%
Vampire Earring - Raider gains +2 life every time he deals damage
Steelflight Bow - Raider's attack cooldown is reduced by 33%

Small ideas:
-Bigger shop, - Better pathfinding( heroes walking past spawned enemies), -healers healing lowest life party memeber, - inventory and 5/6 slots for each hero, - different class gets different stats while lvlling(so we can have tanks,dpsers,healers), -possibility of recruiting any class you want(we could have 5healer, 2warriors squad etc). Great game and alot of space for improvement! 5/5 And good luck!

Game seems to end at Pabulum Pit... it is an interesting/good tutorial to a longer and more comprehensive game. I shouldn't be able to beat this game by leaving my computer on for a day. Look at the Adventure Capitalist model for upgrading... that game takes weeks/months to beat. This could easily become an epic game (bigger than Adventure Capitalist) with my recommendations along with others on the comment wall.

Well, sounds like you haven't beaten it yet! :D A lot of players seem to miss the raids (understandably, the "go raiding" button just kind of pops up once you unlock the ability to go raiding), but they're the primary focus of the game. Get on it! :D But rest assured I will keep improving the game for a long time to come. First real content update arrives on sunday, by the way!

Wait, wait. You can damage enemies without your raiders by clicking on them? That should REALLY be mentioned somewhere, especially in the beginning when you're just sitting there waiting for your guy to heal after every slime.

The game shows a dragon and a loading percentage, then it goes black and nothing happens, even if I wait for a while, click, etc.

What about a lvl bonus for the raiders i.e. if all are lvl 25 the get a higher attack speed or attack bonus or we get more gold and exp.

sugestion: add a quest option to it that rewards xp or gold or even items and to finish such a quest you have to kill x mops on map x or kill the boss in dungeon x

Yes you can stack skill books. I put 6 "Hitstreak" skill books on my warrior = 120% chance to hit again and he got up to 12hit on boss. Haven't reached 100% with other skill books but they should be the same.

Why cant I still be farming when I log off? Like adventure capitalist. Seems dumb that if I don't leave my computer on I would be missing xp.

Also did not get a sword drop from the first raid boss... is there now a drop chance instead of always getting the loot?

Just found out the yellow guy in the third raid now drops the same loot as the dragon in the second raid unless that was just a bug.

This is a good alpha so far, I have seen a lot of suggestions below. I only have one thing to add and that would be improvement on the unit movement. I have had a couple units get caught on corners and it's just a slight inconvenience. Keep up the good work!

Isnt there anything after pabulum pit/throne room? Im farming for ages on this map already, and this raid i also beat multiple times. Was this the game or is it a bug that next maps/dungeons wont open?

i think after playing 2 days now (just few hours/day ofc, idling most of the time) that the game is too easy. the challange of farming almost doesnt increase at all, and dungeons are done fast. lots of help (farmed scrolls, items etc) make this easy and fast. id love a hardcore version of the game (like dead hero is dead and must be replaced) so you have to be carefull what challange you take already. Dont get me wrong: I did already rate the game 5/5 couse its potential is almost unlimited. there is so much that can come: story, challanges, even multiplayer aspects are thinkable. this could easy make it to steam greenlight for 9,99€ in the final version. And damn it, i would buy it for sure.

cant wait to play the full version of the game. hope u can buy stuff for your base there. beds, fireplace, carpets, candles, training dummys (gain some ep while injured raiders rest), tables and chairs, etc.

@DuncanIdaho, I hope he will add the healing rate increase at base in the base upgrade update. Some healer who stays in the base and can be leveld. But honestly once you are 100+ your chars will never go to base anyway still would be nice to have for lower levels.

Good game 4/5 because of a lack of content but it's amazing for a alpha 0.1 also it be cool if there was a passive xp gain whoever get last hit gains 0.2 xp so every 5 kills 1 xp cost get taken off.

You lose whatever loot drops if you're not in the raid map when it finishes
(You can't access the raid map again to pick it up.)
