to everyone who says this isnt a game i disagree. the devolper, Pixelante has made plenty of other proper games in the past and yet they decided to do something different. The typical game is no longer just a shooter. They started that way because that was the only opening for them. Now that the web has come along and solo deveoplers have arrived new genres can be created. This is one of them.

this game is interesting in the fact that it causes you to wonder why must we war with one another and isnt it messed up that it takes an alien to show us that?

I found out the endings
Bad:After being fired upon,go back to your shuttle and leave the family to die.
Bad:Allow the family to die through inaction or on purpose.
Good:Sacrifice yourself the save the ones you love.

i love the game but this is what i think about war=it happens unless one guy has a bigger stick than another or is proparing a suprise attack. thumbs up or thumbs down im just airing my opinion

everyone who has the top comments. i completely agree with you. this is an absolutely amazing game. its just nice seeing this, protecting instead of killing. got a 5/5 for the game. great music with it too

I agree with all the people who say this is a moving game. I gave it 5/5, because it's well made. It gets it's point across and is entertaining at the same time. It moved me, and that's why I gave it 5/5 - I don't rate often, but games that are exceptional (either good or bad) I do.

This was beautiful. A family in distress, a loving alien. The alien sacrificing himself to save the family. Who could have thought that such beauty was possible to fit in a game. It reminded me about current disasters, like war. Soilders sacrificing thereselves to save there beloved country. So touching and wonderful. 5/5, faved.

i like the idea of the protecting the innocent(occasionally in shooting games ill go out of my way to keep as many ppl as i can alive) but i think it could use some work. I think you should be able to go further by attacking the soldiers to defend the family.

*Sniff* The ending literally made me cry. Turn on some sad music from Youtube, and play. It makes the game so sad! *Sniff* Wow... I can only imagine the pain the family would've felt in real life... I would feel like it was all my fault it died... *Sniff* SO SAD!!! *Cries*

Fineplay,its not that small that chance,but its really small,and maybe there are more than 1 int. space races,and if there are allien race in our own galaxy,in andromeda or somewhere close to us it will be easy for them to contact us.

Personally I could've of used a longer game and more violence regardless of what those peace and love hippies are saying about this game. It was short yet still managed to take up too much of my time.

One thing that I love about Kongregate is that there are not just one type of game, there are tons and tons of different games out there, but whenever I see a game that has meaning, an extra terrestrial being that land on our planet young, sees little at the beginning and is amazed at what little they have seen and eager to see more and meet more friendly people, however as he ages with his new friends and family he finds nothing but war and will do anything to defend the ones he loves. It's just like a black sheep in a herd of 1000 whites, touching, simply touching game, 5 thumbs up.
