It was good, but it got kind of annoying how he would continue on talking, even though I didn't press space. I missed several things he said because I pressed space as soon as he continued automatically. Still, it was interesting. 4 Stars.

A very interesting view on video games, and even better, brings back a hint of nostalgia. Likewise, I agree, the concept is amazing and enjoyable.

I found this to be an interesting way to teach basic game design principles. More more enjoyable than just reading or watching it.

I agree Calisun. The more stupid comments and ratings I see on these boards the more I think there should be tweaks to the rating system. This is a genuinely interesting concept to explain videogame shorthand that, as a lifetime gamer, I take for granted. This kind of thing could help break down those barriers to entry for someone who would like to play more games. It annoys me when people go "OH LOL I PRESSED THE SPACE BAR AND WON 1/5", because, althought it's your run of the mill, to be expected, Internet stupidity, allowing these people to rate this harms its overall rating.
This is a really nice idea and should be rated higher and encouraged.
I would say that the fact this site is full of gamers may mean it's not the best platform for it, but I really like the idea.
Oh, and Taito would like a word with you re: the character names :)

it's meant to be educational, and it was featured to give novice producers a clue as to what a game is. "i beat it by pressing the space bar?" how could you possibly miss the point more
