It'd be cool to have a survival mode (A must have for these types of games, y'know) That adds in whole upgrades, a next tier of troops, and new enemy units that can not be used in the main campaign

Tip for Level 9 Challenge: Use Archers to counter stun the enemy archers and place traps strategically to help take out runners. Kamikaze will save your ass when they get near your gate. I managed to finish with 7 seconds left on clock.

This game is fun, really... but... it just feels like a downgrade or minigame version of the original one... and the dialogue... and the portraits... ugh...

seriously either give a goddam healer or dont let the reinforcements disappear after 15 seconds on the field. its stupid that my guys hold a whole horde at the exit and poof and they are gone and everyone slips through :(

Might be a bug. The number of stars vs. available upgrades seem to be glitched for me. The game tells me I can upgrade something costing 3 stars when I have just 1 left.
Did you use focusing, or they targeted them at their own? Archers have strict restrictions and generally can't target them. And if they do, it means that some type of glitch appeared.

How you you expect ANYONE to be able to fight off this many enemies? It's not a defense game if you just get stampeded by literally HUNDREDS of enemies. This game is a troll.

also i liked the unit management of the first game better. this is kinda boring compared to the previous one. the second tier archers and mages are the best to get no matter what and soldiers are quite shitty without healers :(

the lvl 9 challenge is retarded!!! i enter the battle and immediately am insta stunned for the whole battle. cant shoot, cant cast spells, nothing. the problem is the special ability of the dark rangers. fix this!!!
I'll check this level, but I don't remember any difficulties there. Ofcourse those rangers should be eliminated as soon as you notice them, othervise they will surely weaken your defences.

I love how there's no dying in this game, When soldiers "die" they are teleported back to the ship by wizards to be revived by priests. I don't even feel bad for dropping 3 lone soldiers in a horde of zombies.

I just found a funny little bug. If you scroll over an upgrade from its right side slowly.. it will start to select/deselect the upgrade over and over and over again. :D

Found some typo's! In the first mission on the Main Objective screen: Do not let the enemy to pass by the towers. (-to) and same screen: loose (lose)

I like it! I found just one tiny bug. The "Unlock all upgrades on a single tab" achievement has to be done with the archer tab. This ended up being one of my last achievements because I usually used 6 snipers, so I avoided the archer and crossbowman upgrades to save points. After maxing out the warrior, mage, and trap tabs, the achievement didn't get unlocked until I maxed out the archers.
An idea! A tower defence game, where the player sets up towers and protects Kongregate against the swarm of idle games ))) And if saying seriously, there's nothing bad about them. Lots of people can play idle games while doing their jobs or chores or whatever they do. But... I just don't like such type of gameplay )

This is an example of an extremely well-coded Flash game. Even after playing this game for a few hours, going through massive amounts of enemies in every level, and having shot tons of arrows, the game is still running smoothly and I haven't run into the slow down that's typical in Flash games *coughcoughevery

Cool game! The action is great, it's nice to play around with auto and manual targeting, spells are interesting and do have a strategic purpose (which is rare) and finally upgrades are engaging and useful. You nailed it where most of flash strategic game fail. Good work!

Oh great i just embarassed myself i didnt know that there were more upgrades when you click one of the tabs :\ just ignore my last comment
The game has 48 upgrades, 11 spells to cast, 9 different player controlled unit types to select from, and about 30 enemy units. I really thought that there's no lack of diversity :)

The challenge for level 7 is a bit unbalanced since it disables a lot and the summoners summon too fast - the ball's control and speed is not very good to begin with so the summoners just make it downright impossible.
It's easy enough: first, upgrade your soldiers to the max. Use ball to eliminate summoners\witches as soon as they appear on the screen. Note that the ball increases its speed at long distances. Also try to kill as much shielders as you can, and don't even bother killing regular skeletons or zombies: you mage and soldiers can easilly deal with them. And finally use flash strike to kill shielders if they engane in hand-to-hand combat.
Just checked the code and found an annotation. I removed hotkey support to avoid accidental release of the bombermen and meteor swarm. All other spells and casts have their hotkeys.
RS has a common universe with the Royal Warfare, but has quite a different game mechanics. So if you liked RW, this game can uncover some new pages of the RW world.
