The beta having updates is good, but it doesn't really change the actual released game that's been sitting here on 1.0101 for 2 months with nothing to do except accumulate quarks. I'd prefer smaller, more frequent updates and I'm pretty sure a lot of people who've reached the endgame would agree.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The game is REALLY alive, every day there is more content or bug fixes in the beta of the 2.0 version, the link is in the forum of the dev diary

@pano96 If you want to know if the game is still alive and if we expect updates, I would redirect you to the discord. You get many informations there and I would say it is one of the main channel for the dev to communicate with us.

TheRealEpicPies thanks. I didn't realize that the term "sacrifice" was reused for something that I haven't unlocked yet :)

dwex Ant multiplier and ant speed are two different things, even though they are very similar. You have to increase your any multiplier by sacrificing ants once you get to 1e40 crumbs to increase your ant multiplier.

Anyone know why I'm not getting the Ant achievements? E.g., "Ant-icipation: Amass a 2x Ant Multiplier through sacrifice and own a Tier 2 ant". My Superior Intellect rune is at level 68, giving "Ant speed: 8x", and I have breeder ant "Owned: 11 [+3.17e6]". Sure seems like that achievement should be green, but it's red.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Can there be a stat in the settings that shows ants bought? Since there is a research for this that includes this stat?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Is there any plans to update this game? It's been 2 months since the last update which is a pretty long time for this kind of game.
It was fun while it lasted! But there really isn't anything to do now.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Xerk15 That is actually the way challenges used to work, but that got changed in I believe the last update or the one before. I personally like it the new way, but I do agree that it doesn't fit with the design.

Most of the buttons and other objects in the game display information when hovered. This includes the achievements, reset buttons, runes, etc. However, the exception to this is the challenges. It would fit with the overall design of the game to have challenges operate in the same way as everything else. It would also save the user clicks and be faster if clicking the actual challenge also started it, just like how clicking a reset button actually performs the reset instead of bringing up a menu to click an extra button to perform the desired action. It would also prevent there from being 3 separate buttons needed to test if you can beat a challenge, 1 - click the challenge button, 2 - click the start button, 3 - click the leave challenge button. I understand this becomes automated and the developer may have already changed this for the upcoming patch, but I was just hoping they might see this and take it into consideration.

currently having a tax rate of 99.999999999999999999999999999999999997% ... can't I just move my business to a country with less taxes?

500k of every particle generator, 1e985 galactic crumbs and at 1e60M coins to complete sadistic 3, after that, I won't be able to do anything more probably

QoL sugesstions, 1 - Clickable buttons should change color when hovered, probably to something subtle like gray.
You may need to a class to all clickable buttons, and then look into the CSS psudeo-class ":hover".
2 - On the challenge page, hovering a challenge should display it's stats, clicking the button should actually start it and clicking it again should stop it. Right now, players need to click the challenge button to see the stats, click a second button to start it and a third button to stop it.

Windows 7, latest Mozilla Firefox 80.0 (64 bit). I noticed, that when the game logo shows, there is a slider on the bottom. So I moved it and found out the whole game interface moved along, without the way to move it back. When I refreshed the page, the slider was gone because the image (and interface too) was resized to fit the game window. No idea, why it didn't resize the first time. I tried opening the game in new tab and the same thing happened. First time the logo is not resized, but it is after the page refresh. Sorry for posting here, but Game bug feature on Kong is bugged (apparently my valid email is not valid)

@Moris_TM Yea, I'm pretty much endgame too. Whole shop bought, just upgrade runes slowly to 1000 lvl. When new patch will be realeased I'll probably start from sratch. :-)

one update would be nice: to say on 10x,100x and 1000x purchases how much would 10x cost,100 would cost, 1000x would cost
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Platonic didn't say when he will update it, but he is almost there, yyou can check in the dev diary forum and test the v2.0 of synergism, which as you may think, its really different and you will have more fun playing, I recomend to play it from zero
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So I started to play this game and I gave 3 stars... But I saw people loving it so much that I continued playing and gave 4 stars... And you know, now I'm at 5 stars and it's my favorite. Nice game progression :D
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
lordpi1 there's a link to the test version of this game in the discord server, the update is taking a long time to release because of how big it is
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Will there be another update some time soon? I am at the endgame and just logging in and buying less than 5 rune levels per day isn't much fun.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Moris_TM everything you said about blessings is correct except the unlock requirements, runes unlock blessings when their levels are above these totals: speed = 1250, dupe = 1500, prism = 1000, thrift = 1500, SI = 1000. Also, blessings get better as you get more levels, so it's best to focus on the blessings you need most at the time rather than trying to get all 5 blessings
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the "blessings" thing is when your rune has a red background, it happens when the rune levels + talisman leves reach above 1000 levels, the speed rune blessing makes all the timers in the game faster except for the quark one. the duplication rune blessing multiplies multiplier boost effect. The prism rune multiplies ant sacrifice reward. The thrift rune blessing delays the accelerator boost cost. The SI rune boosts Ant speed based on current obtainium

i'm a bit confused/stuck. at sadistic 2, 9.2k total rune levels, e900 crumbs, e11 ant multiplier, rune levels (before talis): 1k, 900, 930, 920, 820. i haven't seen "blessings", is there something extra to do that i'm unable to see?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Moris_TM i don't think it's possible to get all runes to level 1000. however, you can get very close to that, maxing every other rune except SI (because SI just costs THAT much more)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It took me 13 days but finally, I have the shop talisman. now I have 1e100 more galactic crumbs. I think now I can retire of this game and just wait for the next update.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
be very careful with what you buy i spent all my quarks on potions and im being told to restart the entire game cause of it
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Would be nice to see what it would cost to buy 10/100/1K rather than 1 when those options are active, perhaps in parentheses alongside the cost for 1.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Is this still being updated in kong? got a bug where if you are at zero particles with auto-reincarnate on it will reincarnate as soon as possible but not update your particle count :- (
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
A nice game for the first four hours, after which only boredom remains, like all other idle games. Stuck at e59 Mythos Shard for nearly 8 hours with everything purchased where possible.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ok sorry, I didnt see the difference at first. Cancelling the R-challenge sets the other challenge rewards to 0, but reincarnating immediately puts them back to max even without repeating them, which confused me. That makes the last research options useless for anything but reincarnation challenges, still doesn'tseem like intented behaviour to me.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ok I'm not sure how exactly that works, it always shows e.g. 21/25 completions, which is my highest total completion, even immediately after reincarnating. If there is a difference to the actual current completion/bonus, do I see that number anywhere?
Either way, unless I am missing something, that shouldn't matter anyway. The issue is that I am getting different numbers, depending on if I reincarnate, or coming out of the challenge. I am not doing or repeating any other challenges in between. It should be the exact same starting point, since cancelling the challenge is basically the same thing as reincarnating. It's not a big deal if you know where it comes from, but it does seem like a minor bug.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
you misread that upgrade it allows you to reach the highest challenge without neeeding to reach a certain coin requierment for it to work properly you need to have automatically gain completion of challenges research for them to be completed automatically and that shop upgrade doesnt work on reincarnation challenges
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@zaraki I bought the shop upgrade which instantly gets me up to my highest challenge, so thats not it either. I literally just press these buttons: enter higher tax challenge, cancel challenge, transcent: 400 mythos. Rebirth, transcend: 900 mythos
