From a recent Penny Arcade Report editoral about SimCity Social that sums up the same issue I have with this "game (of time management/waiting)"
A wise man once told me that the economy of free-to-play games has to be unsatisfying on some level, or else there is no business. The problem with games like SimCity Social is that, based on what I’ve played, there is no game. The economy is the game. You have to spend energy to do anything, from collecting money from your businesses to chopping down trees, and you have a finite amount of that energy.
Simply playing the game costs money. Imagine a version of Diablo where “attack enemy” is a command, and you can only use 10 commands before you need to either walk away from the game or pay more money. The idea that a game designer built a game where walking away for thirty minutes was a valid strategy baffles me. The more engaged and active you become, the more often you’ll have to pay to do basic tasks.

there should be a way to heal without needing rubies. i mean a consumable item you can easily obtain, like a shop item for 50 gold that heals a quarter of your health. otherwise, you start dying like crazy at the cure the sick potatoes level, which literally wasted like 36 energy. and i'm still stuck! D:

I would like to see a better way to level up when you get in the 20s level. i've done activities with higher level friends to be able to get the activities done up to level 32 and the replays and help wanted is not helping me level up...I'm still level 25.

Did I really just battle Grass? LOL .. Fun game.. kind of reminds me of Sacred Seasons.. The animation is pretty good, the pay-to-play is annoying, but no matter how much people gripe, it's going to stay. But lucky me that the whole "10 energy" thing got settled with. 10 energy?! FML .. Thank Samdc and Sephiroth701 for making it known that this is not acceptable.

Fun game with great graphics but I'm so sick of the pay-to-play multiplayer RPG thing! The energy system really gets on my nerves. Ten minutes for one point? The game play is too repetitive to pay to play it.
It's also very frustrating that any health potion costs 'jewels' aka actual money. The healing fountains are nice but would it kill you to sell lesser health potions for gold?

Make it where after awhile the pets start leveling, when you first get them they do nothing, but way later the baby fox grows, and grows, till' its a killing machine. 4/5, hate energy.

We lowered all Zone costs to 4 energy, so you can potentially play through a whole island in one sitting. We're also looking at other ways to regenerate Energy quickly!

Aww man. No one has tagged this as multiplayer yet. All I saw was "Action" and "RPG". I thought "Omigod! I haven't seen one of those on Kong in a LONG time" Just to find out..... another pay to play multiplayer....great...

Energy system : i request the original loc : 4 energy
boss : 5 energy
PVP 2 energy , PVP 4 is ridiculas :(

Inventory is a pain in the butt I've run out of rubies and now I cant have aymore spavce and no way am I wasting my £ on games

there should be like a bank to put in your items because when i dont have enough room space for my items for contracts i have to sell something to play more.

I seriously don't see why everyone gripes about games with energy systems. If you want to play the game longer, make an alt. Putting a cap on the maximum amount of time you can play on one account ensures that you can stay competitive without being a zombie and playing 24/7...

Great game but you're a little too greedy with the energy and especially the pricing. I love PVP games and I almost always spend cash on titles like this but answer me one question....why on Earth would I spend any money when you'll only let me play about 3 minutes every 2 hours? That's the most ridiculous thing in the world and there is no way people are going to buy items and then turn around and pay to use them.

Yup, feel bad about this but the energy system is not the direction I want to see Kongregate games going and I feel it ruins a potentially very enjoyable game. Gotta 1/5 this.

when you buy an item you should be able to sell it fot atleast half the price coz its annoying buying something for 600 and selling it for 20

I found a flaw.I was in the arena, and I ran out of onoins and (Milk like stuff). I whent the shop to buy more for more energy onions, and they going to have to be payed with rubies. And I can't buy rubies, so I go to the world map to get some-more items and I could not play those levels without energy. So... Now I can't do anything. (=(
