Now that the level increases production lineary rather tnan multiply, the cost for upgrade could be slightly decreased I think

level up vs level up cost: now level upgrade increase production by + same card, the price for upgrade is x10 price of the last card; ex: Lil' Lumberjack level 7 gives 7 wood; the price for level 8 is 10M cards... https://snipboard.io/RcTuPC.jpg how do i get 10m cards?...

and now i notice the realm picker thing after reading a comment reply where you mentioned it. That could do with a bit more highlighting.

hmmm... as it currently sits, prestiging by unlocking the next set feels a bit bad. Total wipe, renders any collecting you were doing moot, and renders any familiarity with the set pointless because the actual cards don't carry over either
Thanks for the heads-up, I'll get a fix for that out within a couple of hours here. Also, there's no way to delete a layout technically, but you can overwrite the slot with a new layout.

It's sad that there is no connection between different realms; it would be cooler if opening new realm would expand on what the previous one offered not completely replace it.
My original goal was to have them be their own separate things, kinda like in Supply Chain Idle, but something I'm considering now is to have Haunted Woods's shop eventually give you the ability to purchase some unique cards that get sent over to Intro Realm. Still trying to figure out how that all should work.

Petrify doesn't seem to give the correct bonus amount (compared to pancakes and warpstone). I like the concept even if so far 95+% cards are irrelevant and all the income comes from what is supposed to be "the worst cards of all time". I'm curious to see into what this game will evolve.

"massive amounts of packs no longer causes slowdown".. Ehmm.. It's definitely better now than it used to be. However I was still waiting about 2-3 minutes for my 100,000 packs just now.

I like the new upgrade update but I still wish there was a way to use less cards. (like irrelevant t2 cards and t1 cards) I think if you could break down T1 cards and use them to add stars to T2 cards...that would be cool. It would bring in a cool way to balance T2 cards. Like maybe Spider King is pretty much the best thing around at the start of Haunted Wood but after some time, a 4 star Noclops might be way better.

The card upgrades is so amazing but it makes me want to buy more packs; however every time I try to buy more then 500 packs at once there is just huge lag problems with the animation. I would love a way to skip the animation so my game doesn't crash, thanks
lol, dang carrot. Thanks for the headsup. That bug should be fixed now going forward (though your save data will still have the extra card, maybe consider it a trophy for hunting down that bug :)

I think gold mine is somehow glitched/broken, 1 lvl 3 gold mine with 1 lvl 4 ghoul above it is producing 62 gold per second, it should be 22 gps based on the card descriptions

@Fordesoft: I would recommend turning off the card buy animation for purchases in quantities of 1000 or more. The animation currently makes such purchases very very slow and nobody will want to look at the resulting cards anyway when buying in such quantities.

Two things I think could improve this game, a max buy for cards, and don't make the production go up by x10s, that would be a balancing disaster- actually impossible to balance, because you would need ~x gold to get your set together, then it stands to reason to get ten times that number of identical cards you need 10 ~x gold, which would multiply your overall gold by ten, then the multipliers by ten, so your old production is one hundred times what it was, and the price to upgrade is only ten. Two is fine, and shouldn't tend off to infinity.

just swapped world to upgrade ghoul and managed to move it into the haunted woods (click it then swap then click a board space), now I can have gold in the haunted woods xD

I think 2x upgrades are fine for power level. Having upgrades does shift the balance between Tier 1 and Tier 2 cards, generally in favor of Tier 1s, but maybe that's okay. Other feedback; by the time you can get Tier 2 cards in Haunted Woods, you already have Investor Imps, so Tier 2 wood cards that are worse than Investor Imp, especially now with card upgrades, aren't great. I think these should all be buffed significantly to be better than a maxed Investor Imp. The Tier 2 iron cards seem fine.

metal cost on packs not good , I can just buy endless 300 wood packs and get lvl 4-5-6 on the t1 cards and because of the metal cost on cards so high , t2 cards will never get enough of them to make them as good as lvl 4-5-6+ t1 cards , also waiting for next expansion and please fix buying endless 300 wood packs , after buying more than 10000 at once it kinda destroys the game.

Petrify dosen't work right. Both Petrify and Warpston Lv 3 are supposed to give 800% production, but while Warpstone adds +80 to my Hades Petrify only adds +30.

When buying a big amount of cards your current cardpackopening-mechanic makes it freeze for a bit. Might suggest (if this hasnt happened yet) to just put the card in the pack with the amount of cards from that type next to it, instead of every card seperate.

Grate game, want more.
FYI, on my oldish computer, When i buy 10,000 lil lumber jacks my computer frezzes for a few seconds then lags alot tell i swap back to the cards tab. when i buy 100,000 lil lumber jacks, the game freezes and i have to reload the game.

Great update with the card leveling. Just started testing it so it's too early to say if 2x or 10x per level would be better. (10x would make the time between grinding card levels 2,3,4,etc. linear since you're earning +10x each level and each level costs 10x more?) So maybe leaving it at 2x is good. I did experience a bug where Cataclysm appeared in my Intro Realm cards QTY: NaN. I can upgrade it indefinitely (currently at lvl. 29 giving a trillion% multiplier to iron). Unfortunately there are no iron producers in Intro Realm so I can't see the gamebreaking multiplier in action. :P

1 Lil' Lumberjack got lost in Into Realm, he is lvl 9 (my cards are lvl 2 and 3; only ghoul is lvl 4): https://snipboard.io/z1bmsd.jpg ; the lost Lil Lumberjack is lazy and doesn't do anything: https://snipboard.io/J9Cq4u.jpg :P

Thanks guys for the bug reports, I just pushed an update that should fix the upgrade issue. Also this update (as part of that fix/workaround) makes things slightly nicer in that it's combining cards instead of destroying them, so if you have 10 cards and upgrade, you end up with 1 instead of 0.
Good find, I think it might be due to having a ton of cards in the display. I'll work on grouping them together in the near future, so that each card shows up as one image (with a "Qty: x" if there are multiples). Hopefully that will solve that issue.

So, I hit a bit of a glitch. I had 14 golem cards, 4 out on the field, so 10 in my list. I used those ten I had spare to upgrade the golems, but the four in the field didn't level up. Even when removing one from the board, it doesn't show as level 2. Still says 10 to upgrade, so it's not like it's an irreparable loss, but it seems that having exactly the number of spare cards needed to upgrade will consume the cards and not convey an upgrade.

now I tried to upgrade greedy bird to level 4 using exactly 1000 copies and no extras, it disappeared, but it didn't upgrade. it is still lvl 3.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
thank you for your game! theres a bug in upgrade. if you have exact 10 copies of a card, then it dissapears from your deck. BUT, when you search for it, sorting by filters, eventually it appears again, leveled up more than it intended to. Congrats for your game!

I am not sure, but I think having only 10 hades and then upgrading them gets them to level 4 next time you get them. all I know is that my hades is level 4 after it disappeared completely... I am not sure if I only had 10 of them or more.

Game is fun but there are some bugs. I upgraded a ghoul card and after a while it just disappeared from my stack on the right screen. I can't find it anywhere
Hmm, I wonder if you might have applied a filter by mistake. Can you check the "Filter by:" at the bottom to make sure both boxes are checked? Or if you consumed all of your cards from your collection to upgrade, that can happen too.

For tier 1 in the haunted woods, it seems like, after 60k wood the most you can get is 660 wood/s with 1st row meat, 2nd investor imp, 3rd pipe and 4th more imps.
Then for iron it's 190/s with 1st row gauntlets (pancakes on the corners also works), 2nd row hades, 3rd row gauntlet and last row hades again.
Then to keep wood positive, just alternate between them when wood gets close to getting back to only 60k.
I couldn't find a comment with more information...
