I've noticed a large amount of lag time when I purchase a bunch of card packs at once, like 10,000 or more. The amount of lag time seems to scale linearly depending on number of card packs I buy, which would imply that there is an "X" amount of computation time per pack I buy. I tried buying 2M card packs and its been unresponsive for 15 minutes. I've got my fingers crossed that it won't bug out on me, but I'm wondering if this is a bug or if this process needs optimization. Or maybe we're all farming bitcoin via this game.

I don't understand how Iron Cat+Fishery works. Say I place 8 Cats around center cell. With fish it gives me 480 sculls, and with fishery 1.92K. So far so good. But then I place Ruins into center cell, which gives me +500% for any resource at level 3, and I get 4.23K. WTF?! It should be 11.52! But when I replace Cats with Spearfisher, everything is fine: 720 w/o Ruins and 4.32 with, exactly 6 times more. Am I missing something?

The new update to upgrading card is adding way to much clicking. Open->upgrade-> close for each card is 3x as many clicks. it was slow before, but now its just painful. perhaps an upgrade all cards at once button? or a second upgrade button, next to the first, just for gems.

Another idea: maybe you can trade (exchange) your cards. The number of stars can reperesent what "value" the card is worth. ( this means you will probably have to create a new currency) Also I don't think they should carry over realms or you can easily buy the best cards as soon as you unlock a realm. They should reset on ascension and maybe the tier 1 and tier 2 cards will have a seperate "currency" so as to again, not cheat the system. Anyway I don't expect you to accept both of my requests but if one of them gets into the game, I'll be glad I helped.

I have an idea : maybe you can sell cards or something like maybe if you don't want a specific card, you can sell them for some resources. There also could be a button for "sell until the number of cards is the same as the number of slots in the area" for when you don't feel like leveling up the cards. But this is just my opinion

This suffers from the rounding issue where i.e. 1.25M of each resource isn't necessarily enough to buy a Nightmare Pack, because that might be 1.248M rounded up for display. To avoid this, always round numbers down for display.

How about you limit how many packs will be opened per frame. Since the current way slows down the browser. Might take a bit longer all togehtetr but it wont look like the game crashed.

A small thing, but I don't really like that I need to give 2 more clicks to upgrade a card. Kinda waste of time to have to close the window every time you upgrade a card.

With the new color coded update i was able to see that the hood card in haunted woods doesnt affect every card it should be

Playing through again after ascending is not going to let me get a more efficient layout, after you perfected the level. It just runs 5% faster, but there is nothing more to buy... Please keep working on ascension :)

Game crashes when I try to buy many packs or "max" - this is for spending 70M trees on Regular Packs XL in Haunted Woods

I love spacial management and improvement in my idle games rather than just "wait for income to buy x to increase y for more x" The progression is somewhat slow, but that aspect keeps it fresh and exciting. 4/5, I would like more speed.

I don't understand this comment from the author. You just take the income-per-second, and multiply by the number of seconds that passed. I hope you aren't just running the whole game really fast on startup to catch up?
That approach isn't accurate in certain cases, as income per second can change between the start and the finish if you're using Investor Imp, Investor Dog, or any card that consumes resources (if you run out of that resource at some point). The next expansion introduces a lot of new mechanics that will likely complicate things even further.

Hideaway does not need a buff. I wouldn't *object* to one (hey, free boost!)... but they're already one of the 7 useful late-run cards for Underworld. Their bit of additional feathers helps balance out the gap between the flame and feather production if you go with Oasis-Gwen. They don't need to be exactly as good as wagons, because feather production and flame production are not identical elsewhere.

I'm making 500 iron a second... yet I've been waiting 48 hours with my computer open most of that time and I don't even quite have 40 million Iron -- (not even halfway) to the needed 100 Mill to get the next "expansion" realm. I'm not even getting to grind while i'm waiting i just have to watch and SULK. Fix the time discrepancy. Fix it

@gruenbambus - for tree production, try 4x meat, 4x investor imp, 4x pipe, 4x investor imp (investor dogs might become better depending on your upgrade levels). For metal production, cataclysm-2x hood-cataclysm, 4x death knight, 4x hood, 4x death knight.

balance question: hideaway gives +500% but wagon gives +800%. Why??? Both have 2 Stars and are lvl 2. It is a 5x5 grid, so why is there a difference? Hideaway should be buffed btw
Can you send me a screenshot or PM with more info? I wonder if you're using iron cards that consume wood, and running out of wood. And can you check to see if Intro Realm is still producing gold when this happens?

bug, have 40 hours offline time, I thought max was 24, are you going to refund gems to those who had extra offline time?

I got offline cap on 36 hours. It's because I used 9 gems when it was 1 gem for 1 hours before. Does this mean we would get some of gems back, you let this slide or forcibly make the cap 24 hours without any compensation ? I f its the latter, I rather quit or reset all my progress.

Great job on this game! Almost all the problems I had with it went away as you implemented the ascension feature :)
One last thing bugging me though. Is there a feature to remove layouts? Thanks again for the great game!
Thanks! I really appreciate that. You can remove layouts by going to the Save Layout menu, then choosing one in the dropdown. A delete button will show up there, along with the option to overwrite the selected layout.

My current offline cap is above the maximum at 32 hours. I had spent 7 gems before the latest patch on offline progress.

ascending: it is good that the cards do NOT get back to level 1 when I ascend. This makes the game more fun. Please leave this and just change the text in the ascension area that you keep the level of the cards after ascending.
That's a good point. I've been hearing that from other players as well. I'll revert that change, so that you will keep your card upgrade levels. Patch going live in a minute.

what is this new update? fix the op stuff... ok... but what about the waiting time to progress? Now it takes even longer and its just waiting while you cant do anything. 10B 10B is far too much for stage 4

Card levels don't reset on ascension, but I don't think they should. Because of the way the game is made it takes 10 times longer to upgrade to the next tier so unless you add major bonuses to earlier areas you would sack all the resources to try and reach the next tier and then ascend speeding up card gathering with the leveled cards.

Can someone tell me which cards from Underworld Tier 3 were boosted? I can't see any good differences, and now we lost de Jar of Death and Obelisk good bonus.
