Buying cards have a performance bug. No matter if it is one card or 10 cards, in area 4, the animation takes forever.

area 4 is very SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!! there is only a single tier 1 wood producer, and after spending 20 gems to upgrade stuff I have a grand total of --- TA DA!!! 33 wood per second, at that rate it will take a year just to get the first tier 2 card. The production vs prices is very unrealistic.

Correction on last comment: looks like cards going go into specific slots, and combat only starts after you put them into the proper slots. There should be some message to make this clear.

Nothing is happening on the 4th level. Although notes says combat is automatic, there should be some kind of visual feedback so we know things are actually working and we have just having a very very long string of bad luck and losses instead of a hung game.

Adding to the Potion that it only "resurrects once" could be helpful. With the current description, it sounds like it will always resurrect.

Bugs Bugs Bugs Galor - first of all it is an interesting new mechanic on the 4th area, not sure I like it yet, but will have to see what happens with more cards. now the bugs, first the framerate has slowed to a crawl when purchasing cards, 2nd the achievments for woods and underworld expansions never light up, 3rd ascension in underworld screen is messed up impossible to read, 4th store in new area has very small text and the text blends with the background making it very difficult to see what things cost

#Gku99 well you are producing wood then yes it would be logically to think it will be negated now for your problem the issue is you are not producing wood but consuming it hence it cannot be negated as the card says it negates wood production not wood consumption. You see my point? Anyway you have a card that negates the wood consumption so why are you asking that?

Negative wood production is still wood production. So when I play a card that negates wood production I would expect my negative wood production to clear. Thoughts?

I lag in Plains of War. I lag (ofc) less when I have less cards in play, and I lag less when I'm in others expansions. So I suppose it's the animation who create the lag.
My computer is bad, but I never lagged on this game before.

Out of curiosity, are you going to release this on Google Play? I'd like to be able to play on the go/if I briefly lose internet at any point in time :)

The harder than it looks achievement MIGHT be broken. I got it immediately after I kill a dead fish with a swordsman( the swordsman was already there. I put in the fish)

so far I think the stats are, Health, attack, defense, and critical chance(max number is unknown.critical does double damage)
Close, that last one is Magic. Wheover has the higher Magic deals bonus damage every round, equal to the difference in Magic. Example: Hero has 5 Magic and Monster has 3 Magic == the Hero deals 2 extra damage (in addition to attack minus defense).

Found a bug. If you ascend and you still have cards in the layout, then those cards stay even after the others disappear.

The art assets do appear to be stolen from Overdungeon, as Yuzhouw commented. I somehow doubt that the art is properly licensed.

@Krogo: for sure, but I'm too lazy to go further by coding. I remove manually a large number of useless cards from the algorithm, that greatly reduces time (number of iterations is basically cards^(board width*board height)).

to Arzarach: with certain operational research methods are coded just fine your script should deliver a result pretty fast.

Great idea and cool game!
I wrote a script to get the best card combination, and I learned two things:
- On Intro Realm, the script confirmed I manually found the best layout depending on my cards levels (think Meteor ^_^)
- Computing will be very, very long (infinite?) for larger boards!
The new Plains of War expansion will be out within a week for sure. I'm going to try and get it out tomorrow but can't guarantee it yet, depends on how things go tonight with the remaining development and pre-release balancing on it. So it won't be long.. save up those ether/skulls/feathers and make sure you're ready to unlock it.

Wow, the last time I played/tested this game, the best (and very obvious) combination used to be a shroom/crab one. I really like where this game is going, keep up the great work!

For hiding cards, have a little box in the upper right corner of the filter list with the word hide beneath it. Drag a card there to hide it, and a checkbox to show/hide hidden cards. Also consider playing some other card games on Kongregate for ideas.

For people with bugged 3rd zone ascension screens, I ascended when it happened and the result was gaining the last ascension points and getting "you have mastered this arena and received all of its ascension gems".
Won't be too long now. I'm going to try and get it out this weekend, but can't guarantee it just yet. The next expansion is going to be weird and very different from the first three realms, so get ready for a new kind of challenge.
