Yes... YES! I finally got the Kamikaze badge! When you play Survival, ALWAYS use the last ship! In the first small bit of it (where there are little to no bullets), try to get as much gold as you can. Then use that money to max out the wave weapon and electric wingmen, as well as buy courtesy ship, kamikaze, and commander. Then just focus on dodging and let your wingmen do all the work. ;)

Love the game. Reminds me a lot of Touhou, haha. If I may make a few suggestions; A button to hold that slows you down a bit would be awesome, since I find it annoying to dodge/scrape huge patterns/waves of bullets while going normal speed. Another suggestion, which I can guarantee has already been said before, is an endless mode with occasional upgrade sections. Both of these would be good additions, in my opinion.

i love the feeling of the old fashioned space invaders, yet the game has modern upgrades and sweet music. awesome game

ok VERY important tip. do NOT use the final ship for your run on the frantic mode, the 2nd last is way more effective since it has better shields and survives longer. also, no matter what you do, get the green heart card in frantic mode, you will need it.

To get the 100x multiplier, get the Giant Scraping Rod when you get to a boss battle scrape the bullets. Dont concentrate on the boss, just scrape the bullets. I havent got the 100x multiplier yet, but I probably will :D

can not beat frantic mode. cannot unlock survival mode. both badges not to be gained. ive played episode 1 on frantic for like 100 times, i know BY HEART when WHAT KIND of enemy is coming and still i always die on lvl 4 "mini" boss and lvl 5 final boss, no matter what bonus/weapon i try.

Not really a fan of the new music, if i wanted to hear rock i would just play some myself. otherwise the music, this is exactly the same game i remember playing. 3/5

you have a huge success with this game! epic music and the bosses are nice too. i love the special attacks and everything else in this game. i allways have loud sound when i play this cuz i like the music so much

Coming into this game, I truthfully did not expect much. I had been a fan of these games, but the usually becoming sorry and repetitive. Even with my horrible thoughts of what would happen coming into this game, I was simply impressed. Choose a control scheme, and off you go. Gameplay was good, pretty seamless with no lag for me. Easy to get money and such. The boss was interesting, and fun. I had a smile on my face as I played. After the boss, the upgrades screen came on, and even with a row unavailable, I was still pretty happy with the variety.
However, a few downsides: The action, as in a lot of these games, got a little overwhelming for me in the second level. With the helpers, my wave shot that I got, and all the other things flying around, quick reflexes are a must. Also, I was somewhat confused on some of the things on the HUD- The blue bar beside the health, and the adrenaline bar. Gameplay eventually fixed that.
4.7 out of 5 as a final result.

This is by far the only game in this genre so far that has it right: lots of upgrades, achievements, and, most of all, INSANE bullet dodging. 5/5 great game.

Also, money should roll-over to your next game. It should be collected. I quit after episode 1 once I found out I didnt get to keep any of my stuff
