Certainly one of the better flash danmaku clones out there.
Sadly, the non-boss waves pose no real threat while the patterns of the aforementioned are too easy to avoid/learn. Also, it definitely lacks the moe of a certain doujin danmaku series ;).

still does not save stats. too easy. powerup bars seem to go up only a little even after picking up hundreds of powerups - and don't seem to have ANY effect. Money and money upgrades are obsolete since you can buy and upgrade anything you'd like in a jiffy; no strategic saving and buying like in frantic 1 to max anything you want. No explanation on some aspects of the game. Some weapons/upgrades are obviously painfully weaker than others. I could go on, but the bottom line is, as much as I liked frantic, this just doesn't cut it for me. 3/5 for effort, but won't be playing it ever again. Going to play the first one right now though... if it aint broke, don't 'fix' it ^^

does not save my stats :( Needless to say, kinda kills the replayability, since I cannot get feats. Apart from this, still adjusting my opinion. On first impulse, I like it waaay less than the first one, but I'm playing it some more to give it a chance. Maybe it just has to grow on me. Saving my rating for the near future.

It's Frantic. But with more sophisticated upgrade system, more things to do, smarter enemies, new challenges and with the great quality of the first! It deserves a 5/5, but if you want in the future to give you another 5/5 i Frantic 3 (if you plan to release a third one) i have only demand. Make the game bigger! So great game, it gets 5/5 from me!

Unquestionably the best flash shooter I've played. Takes the already-excellent original game and improved on it tenfold. I still find it a little easy (as of this writing, beaten without losing a life on intense my first try, not Frantic yet.), but the bottom line is that it's enjoyable to a level that flash games rarely achieve. 5/5, fav'd.

after 5 seconds i froze in place and so did the enemies which were hit by my bullets, while i'm writing this, my ship shoots at some enemy who refuses to die and get about 10 multiplier per second (now i'm at 6000+ and the score exceeded the maximum a couple of times and became negative)
I guess its all because i use Linux

And waiz, if even -this- game isn't good enough for you, why are you wasting your time on Kong?
And yeah, it is a -little- too easy. Frantic difficulty was not as impossible as it should have been.

Not enough replay value for a game with internally programmed badges. Get achievements to play the same game over and over?? Heck no! Fun though, 4/5

Not a good game. The weapons and upgrades are boring, graphics suck. There are way better shooters around to which this one doesn't come even remotely close. 2/5

Fantastic beyond anything I have words for. One of the best games on the site. Might have more to say once I finish the game.
Also: Am I the only one that can dodge bullets just fine but keeps getting hit due to trying to get more bullet scraper bonuses?

A way to get a 999 or higher?? multiplier: on the last boss of episode 2 on medium kill his right side and only keep a rocket guy at the left alive after that he fires only straight lines of bubbles where you can scrape a lot and deactivate the rockets for more points, also you don't hit the boss this way so you can get the highest score ever this way!

Too short to be enjoyable. Having to start over with base weapons, no upgrades, etc for episodes 2 and 3 is kind of lame.

I played the first Frantic alot and thought of it as kinda boring especially when you try to get the impossible badge and I thought the same of this when I played a few levels on easy, but SERIOUSLY I played level 1 on frantic and got hit once after thta lvl 2 was about to get pwned but no, my jaw literally DROPPED from the awesomenes, this is just pure Touhou ( those japanese bullet hell games ) worthy material dude, pure win and I've always wanted to have such a game on kongregate and the little countdown when you unpause is nice ^.^ 5/5 and keep up the good work dude!
