Excellent game, too many good parts to write down nor even count. Only bad thing I noticed was a lack of pausing when you accidentally click outside the screen, and generally die from said mistake. Besides that, 5/5. Best shmup I have ever played, to be honest.
(Oh, and don't ever put in a save function. That ruins the fun of Shmups!)

Pretty average imho.
Again it has neither a save nor a "focus lost" function.
Due to that I'll rate 3/5 - just add some of these basic functionalities in part 3 -.-

Okay, this game is just very great!! The songs just make you want to get on the top of your game. I'm a very hardcore gamer and this coming from me is just............you should feel very proud of yourself!! So many modes as well. I played the first game and I got every achievement. Since there is no impossible achievement here, you can actually enjoy the game more. 5/5 baby! You deserve it!

Easily my favorite top-down shooter of all time, but there are a few things I'd like to point out. The background is extremely boring...I mean, blank grey with little dots on it? At least make it colourful like the menu. In fact, the menu background would look pretty sweet. Also, when using the mouse to play (The obvious choice for me), if you move the mouse too fast a little dot will appear showing where the ship is headed. This is a great system, but the dot is so tiny that it looks like part of the background. Make it bigger and more colourful, or at least more noticeable. I understand that this is made this way so that it doesn't distract the player, but there must be a compromise. Maybe making it a touch larger and a different colour, but also making it fade in with other objects on the screen, such as enemies and bullets. Still, a great game that's original and fresh, worth a 5 star rating.

Frantic mode is just impossible..... and if you look closely at the scores, you will notice that the top scores are from japan -___-
