How to make this game as hard as possible: max difficulty ,complete all the stages unarmed+unharmed (no weapons+not getting hit) all in one run (no dieing+no playing a level over again).

I totally forgot how amazingly HARD frantic is! I started playing thinking "I owned at the last one... No problem." the remembered I owned at the last one because I played it for AGES to get past certain parts!

It would be nice if stages completed unarmed were marked as such similarly to how completing without any damage leaves ‘Unharmed!’ mark.

"Stacking Missiles DOES work." that is correct, BUT DO NOT STACK SHOCKWAVE!!! it is worthless because it does not even increase spread.

Just replace the HP-bar on T3 bosses with a timer. Right now it's just insulting for people who invest in weapons and "anti boss" extras for the illusion that it would actually matter.

Bosses drop a low amount of money because when you kill them, all the bullets in the screen turns into coins, so you get a lot of money if killed in the right time

for me, the second one is much better: better music, more strategic playstyle, and can change when you want the ship.

Ps @ variation You actually have to watch for bullets?! They're literally everywhere! SOOOO glad for 1/2 pixel hitbox because THERE'S ONLY ONE PIXEL OF SCREEN WITHOUT A BULLET ON IT! LOL XD!

I saw this and the second i did i instantly made the sound of a squealing pig. It's just as good as i had hoped it'd be, everything is very clean and clear. Easy to understand and when you mess up you know that it's your fault since there IS a way to dodge anything. Upgrading your ship also feels like your really advancing unlike some games that cannot understand how to do upgrades. I also enjoy how the bosses don't drop massive amounts of money, i like playing a game for the challenge not to get as much money as i can and become OP. Great game DEN OUTA DEN.

I found that if you purchase the repair drones and burst fire your secondary (click the mouse in small intervals instead of holding it down), you repair more HP than you would have otherwise.

I can only purchase 9 weapons for the interceptor when it says I can have up to 12. I'm not complaining, I just want you to know so you can fix this issue. Also, guys, the reason the game is buggy is because it was released a little while ago.

rockets don't seem to stack linearly. i have 6 rocket pods/launcher things, but each round only shows 3 or 4. on bosses only 1

@hoboMcJoe, yes it is intentional. When you start a new game you get to pick from 5 ships, each having different amounts of accessories and weapon slots.

Is it intentional that half of my weapon slots are unusable? I cannot select them. The final weapon slot that I can actually use shows no picture for the weapon? Is this a bug, or will those slots be unlocked later? I know you guys usually rate down questions, but I'd appreciate an answer.

i paused the game and when i cam back to it 10 seconds later and unpaused it froze, i was able to repause and see where i moved my ship to but nothing else

Definitely the worst Frantic IMO. The old weapon system was working perfectly fine, and all the HUUUUUUUUUGE ships (including the player's) give a scale of smallness. And the music is definitely the worst so far. There is also less content than in the previous 2 frantics. If each boss level was counted as one area, you'd have 6 of them compared to the old Frantic's 15.
Which isn't to say it's a *bad* game by any means, but by Frantic standards, it definitely doesn't measure up IMO. 3/5

And as separate comment: games from Frantic series are ones of the best game on Kongregate and series itself can be considered best so far. Awesome game: at least one where you need skill and only skill to win. And where it IS hard to win.

I can't edit message, but I think I've understood why I liked previous versions more. 1) simplier graphics. Whatever, but I like scrollers for gameplay. Extra graphics hide bullets and stuff in it and that is not fun.
2) size. Of everything. Went bigger. And that confuses. 3) screen became wider, but shorter (feels so). This adds points to 2. 4) Transparent bullets with no sharp border.

only reason for 4/5 is that two previous versions were nicer and better.
Even if it comes just from the fact that "grass was greener and air was fresher".

@solibusal scraing is when you see the little bits of pixles fly off of your ship when you get very close to a bullet but dont hit it
