I'm sorry Developer to say it: "this is a same Wartune I was playing many years ago. Differences are really small - like dresing, events, symphs and small stuff". But to find a real difference you have to reach lvl 50/60+, but it take few months.
A number of players in all servers is a best recomendation to close it and keep good memories about Wartune.

I played wartune back when the arena had armor sets that you could only get from playing the arena and trading out the insigna you got from arena and back then i liked it despite the effy things it had but they started changing the game and they added things in it untill finally it was just a big mess of bs. The only thing liked from the things they added into the games was not having to wait for the building cooldown after upgrading it. What you did with this wartune was grab a time crystal and went back in time with the game and i'm not saying thats a bad start. it's good you did that but as of right now this game has nothing new to offer and i came here expecting to find something new not a trip down memory lane. I'll come back even so often to check and see if you did something good to the game or not. I hope you guys get motivated cause this game here is a fresh start so do it right this time.

I think it's safe to say that this got abandoned out of the starting gate. It wouldn't surprise me if this was just ProficientCity's attempt to play the one-armed bandit and make off with as much money as they could in the first month of release; they probably need it to survive being nuked by 7Road.

someone was not happy w/ the tags, be it these moron devs or kong, gave a bunch -1000 votes; there certainly aren't enough players to do it. still a shit game on a shittier rerelease. get a clue, sub 10k plays, no one wants this. Funny side note, already starting the releasing new servers for burst spending model already; its not sustainable, never has been, that's why there are so many mergers of dead servers. tl;dr if you find some compelling reason to play, don't spend, it will just be wasted w/ the inevitable server merge

so the original wartune gave you a free code to get a starter pack for playing, i tried the other server codes but they did not work, is there a place to get a code for this server?

Same music, same graphics, nothing is different, i quit wartune 2 years ago after feeling like all i was doing was wasting money to reinforce a gambling addiction... there is nothing new here

It gets worse when you realize that Kongregate has had next to no problems with wanting to partner with ProficientCity in the past. Does anyone remember Legend Knight? PLEASE TELL ME SOMEBODY REMEMBERS LEGEND KNIGHT.

proficientcity is no better than r2games, they used to run other games here on kong and they were shut down as soon as people realized they didn't want to throw money away on nothing at all, payments often get lost and their customer service is just some kid (possibly young monkey) typing gibberish

RuneKnight, R2Games was just the publisher, facilitating the international release for 7Road. 7Road is the creator of the game. ProficientCity in this case is performing the same duty as R2Games.

And none of my prior rant even goes into the incredibly poor customer support going into this: is it just me, or does PC understand how much they might have boned themselves on this? Because I can't think of any better explanation for why they've seemed to completely and suddenly abandon communicating with their customers. They've been scummy in the past, but never outright scavens as to go radio-silent. Especially considering their "VIP" subscriptions, the three letters grinded into meaninglessness by these freemium shovelware titles, automatically re-opts whether you tell it to or not (at least according to player feedback as of this point. Might make a forum thread to ask about it.) So we have a situation where the developers may have possibly abandoned their title before it even released out of beta, and has left dozens of consumers stuck on a payment plan with no internal help to cancel it or any information how to. That seems painfully convenient...

A lovely example of how deep the free-to-play Asian MMO market dips of late: they're ripping off of EACH OTHER now, which is frankly as impressive as it gets. As for a review? I'd really just be repeating myself; it's Wartune as everybody remembers it, being pretty, but lacking in substance. The town-building aspect is, as always, a cheap way to gate your power scale to enforce the pay-for-power mentality that the system was always based off of in order to even stand a chance climbing the PvP rankings. The only real interesting part about this game is the name itself: Wartune wasn't the first, but it was certainly the most affluent of the 'Freemium' MMO market that brought it to such mainstream here in the West. And seeing how Road-Squared has been comfortable with ripping off successful western developers in both art assets and story concepts, as well as THEMSELVES from time to time, I'm just waiting for the (hopefully) inevitable bombshell between them and Proficient City about this.

Filing a ticket isn't even possible, you need a transaction ID and the server isn't even a selection on their list. They clearly don't care about this beta for kongregate.

as a old wartunes player, i dont really see any difference as compared to the original. update of graphics and perhaps possibly less dependence on boxes would be nice and might entice old players to come back

Nothing different about this one, it's the same getup after introducing sylphs. It's still pay to win and a bottomless money pit of a game.
