Is there a reason why my manual gun can't be upgraded past level 125, or is that just to add an element of difficulty?
Since you can grind on the boss we weren't sure if the ability to play a previous level was needed. So you can't currently change what level you are playing, but we're working on an update to change this.
Once you've purchased all the active abilities the Time Warp button will appear. You need Time Cubes to Time Warp, which you earn by destroying the blue Time Cube blocks that start appearing on arena 100.

When do i start to find time cubes? Also if i use x2 Gold for 30sec right before i shoot a flying rainbow circle will it double that gold?
Time Cubes start appearing on level 100. And yes, if you're using the 2x gold active ability and destroy a rainbow ball it will give you double the gold.

Can you make it so that the weapon upgrade button changes colour when you have enough money to make it to the next perk level? That would make it easier than reading each of the "x14" texts and checking if it needs to be 10, 15, 25 for max. Hope that makes sense. 4/5 so far

few suggetions why not add a cube pet mode? when you finished arena 150 you will have a cube on your side :) that you can evovle :) example you have a red cube > white cube > yellow cube > another red cube like that then you can pvp :) example you finished arena 200 you can choose a mode pvp like example your enemy is the cube and your the gunner like that who ever win gets a rewards just an suggetions :D

So the pistol does it's job, but what about being able to buy new weapons or having weapons based on number of times you prestige?

This game is great as far as idle games go, but the inability to go back to previous stages is a huge overlook. You're forced to very slowly farm a boss, which slows the game to a crawl.
Since you can grind on the boss we weren't sure if the ability to play a previous level was needed. However due to all the requests for this so it's something we're looking at adding in a future update. EDIT: Update 0.6.2 now allows you to grind the wave prior to a boss.

Fun idle game. Inevitably people are going to use an autoclicker in a game like this. I think it'd be interesting if a game that requires clicking and doesn't attempt to prevent an auto-clicker changes the animation for auto-clicking. In this game I think it'd be cool if instead of firing thousands of bullets a second, the gun became a "laser" of sorts (it already sorta does). Instead of bullets hitting the block an animation could be some sort of heating up or melting. Definitely not a feature that will really change the game by any stretch of the imagination or even necessary. I just thought it'd be nifty.

would be nice to go back levels so you can farm for those rainbow boxes instead of sitting on late level bosses for 40 minutes+

Something I've noticed is that there is really cool pixel art in some of these levels, but I destroy them so quickly that I cannot tell what they are before they are gone D: Could you make a tab with all the destroyed levels pixel art? Like... A beastopedia, but with levels you've gone through.

anyways this game doesnt need to set of stages like moving to other stage you can just grind some boss and dont upgrade until you get much money ;)
Good catch. It was 2.0x the others just said 2x, I think we had it at 2.5x at some point when testing and reduced it but left the decimal point. Then it escaped my search/replace. All fixed now, will be updated in the next version. Thanks :)

The boss grind made me stop playing at level 20.
Would've been so much more appealing to go back at 19 and hope for a rainbow enemy , to get that extra money to get through the arena boss...

the last few guns become cost ineffective after promotion. Smooth game, nice look. 4/5 with potential for 5/5. world resets should unlock alternate main guns; pistol/uzy/shotgun/etc. The game also feels like it needs a third standard upgrades section. Maybe box type kills spent to upgrade box kill rewards? i.e. spend 100 red box kills to increase value of red boxes by 5%, spend 1000 red box kills to unlock white boxes. Something like that. Oh, ya, and add some kinda r-click function, because you can, maybe an overload of gun to kill a single box, but locks gun for x secs, idk, something. Best wishes for further developement.

can't scroll partner weapons to get anything after particle ball. If particle ball is the last weapon then it's just the tooltip trickling off the bottom of the screen

Okay great game 5/5 stars. Everyone needs to chill out with the time it takes to progress. If you can get to lvl 100 in 30 minutes the game would be no fun. Its an idle game and idle games need to take time.

Sorry, 2/5 stars. Got to the boss at level 40, spent an hour, maxed him at half health within 30 seconds. THATS WITH DOUBLE DPS. Yea, very fun game till that point. hence the 2 intsead of 1

Alright people clicker heroes is a game, in a very long line of idle games...and it came in a lot later than the majority...
That aside, what can I say...it is an idle game. The pistol becomes useless way too early, you shouldn't HAVE and I mean HAVE to use the buffs for it to be useful. (This starts at level 20+)
At level 35 the completion scale is insane, and it gets much worse...it would be a good idea to either have a more steady progression or give a higher bonus upon boss completion. I would say more but it looks like you got your hands full.

Instead of the option to choose previous levels, you could simply disable the reset on boss stages, so you can farm those golden cubes to the end without any dmg wasted.
But you can only progress when you can clear the stage in time.

i would suggest a targeting system where you could tell your team to target non-yellow blocks. In some of these boss fights, focusfiring the red, then white blocks would increase money generation by so much

need a way to go back a level. stuck on boss at lvl 50 lol takes forever to upgrade now. other than that great game! fun to play while im "working" xD
We've received a lot of requests for the ability to go back to a previous level so it's something we're looking at adding in a future update. We didn't initially add it since you can grind on the boss and weren't sure if it would be required.

ugh. you used unity. nice job making it so anyone using the dev builds or 64 bit builds of chrome cant play. why even use this terrible engine?
One interesting thing, we almost have a WebGL version working with the new Unity 5 WebGL build. So it will even work on Linux. Still waiting for 2 Unity bugs to be fixed first though.
