well, if you force players to go your site, a lot of people will adblock everything on your site and are pissed because of the site changes everytime when they just want to play on kong. Consequence? You will pay the additional traffic and players can't keep playing on their favorite site. They will ignore your still great game and you will have less players and less money than before.
I understand that you need to make money out of your game, but please think about other ways of monetarization as of trying to force people to something they don't like. This way never works.
What other way to monetize though? Unfortunately, when I look at other games I see them making the same choice or going to mobile. Donations don't work and a suggestion for kreds got downvoted.

For anyone babbling about drawing traffic to their site - this is only a beta version of artifact update AFAIK. In some updates time it will be introduced on other sites too.

SERIOUSLY why can't you just have the artifacts on kongregate, its frustrating to keep swapping between your website and kong... i get you want people to view your website, but come on now, its annoying!

Great work with the artifact update! Changed my rating from 4/5 to 5/5. And changing the website every now and then is not that big of a deal.

First, I wanted to say that going over to the dev site, doing your artifact thing and coming back to kong isn't that much of a hassle. If you don't want to pay for the game, at least let these guys make a little money for their hard work.
I do have a gripe though. It is in that I've accumulated 113 time cubes now. That means I've been through the game 11 times and other than those 10 cubes you get at level 100, I've gotten zilch from the other levels except for the one time when I got three. I've never been a lucky person. I'm that gamer who always rolls a one or a two. As it stands, with this 25% chance of getting time cubes, I will end up never playing past level 100 again, and eventually, I will get bored of playing the same 100 levels over and over. Please, fix this devs.

I'm not sure if this is just me, but whenever i go to your site to play it gets REALLY laggy, i'm talking FPS in the decimals, but on kongregate it's fine. If it's not just me, you should probably fix it, if this is fixed, i'll gladly play on your site.

thank you for including including the 'all abilities' option, i tend to just save up to use all abilities at once, and this just really helps streamline the process
Yes, you keep purchased Artifacts when you Time Warp. Also the +10% DPS bonus from the Time Cube is permanent, so you keep it even if you sell the Time Cubes for Artifacts.

Okay here's how it works: Your save file on Kongregate is the same save file used on TimeClickers.com. You can click your Time Cubes icon to open up the Artifact Tree on TimeClickers.com but not on Kongregate. The effects of the Artifacts are active on Kongregate after you have activated them on TimeClickers.com. It's not terrible, but it is convoluted enough to warrant bringing the rating down. Microtransactions would have been much less irritating.

To have to use the import/export feature in order to use Artifacts on Kongregate is like adding several keyholes to the door of your home then forcing you to unlock the door several times to enter your home. That makes the interface feel clunky.

Ah I see. You can buy the Artifacts on the other site and it transfers over to Kongregate. That's a bit much considering that doubles the chances of getting malware for the sake of an inconvenient game mechanic. I somehow doubt that Timeclickers.com is as well protected or maintained as Kongregate.

"8 hours ago - 0.7.0 Artifact Update". I don't see an artifact update on Kongregate, just an advertisement to try to lure me away from Kongregate. Looks like you got players into the game under the impression that they can play on Kongregate, only to switch over to your own website. I don't know if you intended to do that from beginning, but the optics of it look bad. You should disclose that it's an offsite game from beginning.
We didn't know we would need to bring people back to our site at the beginning, I hoped that since kong plays video ads before the game the revenue would be higher. So we were faced with the option to stop development or try to see if anyone wants us to continue by playing on our site. It's been nice to see people support the game and want us to move forward.

BTW dev just want to tell you a not obvious bug, if you click an already dead cube, you can still damage it and crit it. Making some crit achievement way easier

If they didn't make macros for this then I don't know what they made 'em for. Made it to the mini boss on stage 35, pretty cool game. Very pretty, good use of Unity, awesome soundtrack, and obviously awesome enemies. 4/5

Do the spent cubes (on artifacts) still give the DPS bonus? Because I got 10, spent 7, and it's still written that I'm getting a 2x DPS boost. Is it wrong or not?
It's the Unity Web Player. It's blocked on all sites by default. You've previously allowed it on kong. Soon all Unity games will need to switch to WebGL which doesn't require unblocking them.

Can you send me a PM and we can try to figure out what's happening? EDIT: We had a bug with site locking. This has been fixed so you should no longer have an issue accessing the Artifacts through TimeClickers.com

I like the artifact idea. The tree is a pretty cool way to handle those, and I REALLY like that spending points doesn't kill the 10% bonus for each cube. I wish the tree was on Kong, but the save transfers so it is just a tiny inconvenience to go to the site spend the cubes.

I think it would be cool to make the guns target different ways. For example having the Pistol target the strongest cube in the area. like if there are y/w/r cubes it will pick the yellow one and focus it down before switching to other yellows or going to the w ones. andletting the flack and spread to be able to take out the other ones.

For the developer: In the future, please make the artifacts easily accessible on Kongregate. I understand the save file is used through the website, but it is a hassle for us to have to go to the website and switch back, or to stay on that site, when it is preferred to not have to switch at all.

I've always wanted to see something like 'upgrade paths' in a game like this, something that would let you change the way you progress a bit. Since you already have one 'upgrade path' in the game, it'd be awesome if you made a second set of upgrades that we could choose as an alternative to what's already here, so for each upgrade stage we could choose whether we want something like 2x Fire Rate, or 2x Projectiles, or maybe 2x Damage... something like that. It'd make resetting the game and grinding back up to Arena 100 a little more interesting, at the very least, since we're not just buying the same things over and over.

really nice game, but 2 nervs. 1. the info-popup mostly dont close on unhover. please fix that. 2. the active skills should pause in the boss kill between sequence after. there are 5 wasted seconds every time ;)

well done on th game so far ... there has been a hhuge development and i really cant wait to see the artifact update it looks like a really good and beneficial update for regular and consistant players . I like the graphic. I like the simple gamplay. I like how leveling guns didn't give diminishing return. I like how skills can be grouped. I like the game!
