Games like this use space to jump for the same reason that old console games used A or B or X or whatever to jump, rather than up on the directional pad. I'm more used to games like that than I am to games which use up for jumping; up-key-jumping feels weird and unpleasant to me, and I've always thought it had a sort of 'amateurish' feel to it.

Interesting little game, really enjoyed the signs and their "cute" comments. It reminded me a lot of Wario World in the game play, even Clarence looks a bit like him. All in all, good game, 5/5...Even if my date's favourite type of movie was Porn.

A few people have mentioned a problem where you lose keys after ending a level, and I've tested it and found that it does indeed happen. I'll fix it and then upload and updated version.

alright. I spent like 1 hour... And I thought finding Key is the final task and dating with SOMEONE... And.... That was just.... Lv.1?!!! Ayee... I quit.. It's too tired to clear.

Jet Set Willy meets Mario - excellent. Oh no, wait, the video games of my childhood were shit and annoying.
That said, this is well made, and witty. Only changes I would makes would be: Up Arrow to Jump, and Clarence grabs ladders automatically.
