Awsome awsome game!
Going to play #2 now.
I would like to add that an option to have all text appear instantly would have been nice, so I dont press x to make it appear, to find that only 3 words were said and miss it.

you know for some reason it let me be an adult in mardek one after i defeated the dragon and i could destroy everything without trying!
meanwhile deugan was still a kid

Considering the chapter is pretty short, this is very impressive, but i personally think its too easy which is fine, but it really does kill any real satisfaction of completing this first chapter I'll try chapter 2 soon, and work out at that.

Tathar, if you'd played for more than perhaps five minutes, you'd see that that being cliche is the whole point...
Also, I LIKE dragons! My avatar is a dragon! And I portray myself as a dragon in things rather than drawing myself as a human.

Dude, I got 12 hours of gameplay out of this. A free internet game. That's amazing. The challenge vs. skill level reached for each boss was pretty perfect for me (battles were challenging but appropriate), and overall, amazing job.
GREAT job.

Genius. You, sir, have truly grasped the shining virtue of metafictional humour. Plus really nifty game design. I would take my hat off to you, but...hmm...[goes off to purchase hat]

Good production values, good game engine. I liked the twist up front. I was all set to be down on the whole "dragon stole a princess" thing as unremarkable, but then you changed it up. The only thing I don't like is the meta-humor. I like the game, I just would rather see it played a bit straighter. Oh, and the scaled-down graphics (I assume to meet Kong's resolution standards) make the text difficult to read.

I am now additionally confused. Apparently, Deugan's dad is actually a Fire element. Fire and Earth are neither dominant nor submissive towards each other. Nor are they the same element and lacks that added compatibility. Yet, they are coupled and their son is of Earth element. This makes me wonder if about the actual prominence of elements in this fantasy world. Perhaps the supposed association of elements with personalities and compatibilities are merely myths fueled by intrigue and coincidences much like the Zodiac signs of our world (although my girlfriend and I do have compatible Zodiac signs...) ?

If Deugan's dad is Air element and Deugan's mom is Earth element and Air dominates Earth, why is Deugan Earth element? UNLESS, he's not really Deugan's real dad and Deugan's real dad is an Earch element! ... Ignore me please.
