Maybe you should try asking on his userpage instead of this game's comment area.
You mentioned something about item descriptions. You are aware that you can see various things about items in the inventory by rolling over them while holding E, A or P, right?

Thanks so much for such a fun game; it has a lot of great potential in the coming chapters, which I am definitely looking forward to. It does remind me a lot of the original Zelda, which is great, but it does stand on its own 2 feet. I love all the dialogue despite the fact that some people have complained about that; I have always felt that dialogue and story are what truly make an rpg great. Keep up the good work!!

I too, just like Jorma in a comment earlier, had to play this game for a third time to get badges. It was far from boring, and I will gladly play chapter 2 for a second time when badges are added.
Can't wait until remaining chapters and final release of Deliverance... it is going to be released in some undefined future, right?

I really enjoyed this game. I liked the twist in the beginning and you've really done a good job of setting up the plot for this story. I like how this makes me nostalgic for games like Crono Trigger... ^_^ 5/5

Hmmm.... graphics and layout are an awful lot like Pokemon for Gameboy =D
I like this game a lot. It's got spunk.
Although I think I already encountered a glich =/

You can only load Chapter 1 saves; if you save the game at the end, it counts as a Chapter 2 save (for loading in the next chapter) and will be greyed out in this chapter.
And you actually have to give the pipes to Meraeador before you can get the badge.
(Tsk, someone who commented earlier is telling me to ADD save files where there clearly are some? Do such people just not even LOOK at menus or something?)

I gotta say, just finished the dragon fight in the beginning and... the fact that it was not real is enough to give this game 5/5. A kickass intro; better than most games I've played in my life in terms of style.

this is the type of game I'd love playing on a handheld console, but I couldn't play it 4 long on a computer. I enjoyed what I played though, so I'll give it a 4 or 5

I don't think it is too short, its only chapter 1.
And I don't think its too dialogue heavy, I actually think its fun to read.
Great game 5/5

"I’m not sure why people expect an old-school RPG to not be dialog-heavy."
It's not just the fact that the game is dialog heavy. I think the dialog can be more effective by being more concise in some places.
I'm a writer. I know about shortening things up. Sometimes you have to edit things out and shorten things up a bit to get the point across better and keep people interested.

This game is tedious and repetitious. If you are going to have townspeople in the game, make them say something worthwhile that moves the plot along.
