Hello! I'm still working on MARDEK 3... I've already talked about it on my userpage here and my own website, but I'm posting this here anyway for some reason.
It's been taking so long because I've been working on other projects AND recoding the engine (it works the same, but the code is neater for me to work with and less buggy). The delay between chapters won't always be this long.
I don't know when it'll be done, but I'm aiming for before Christmas...

wow im pissed.... i was at end of game and i decided to play mardek chapter 1 and when i went to finish game that chapter one save overwited or w/e that save file 8 hours for nothing...

Got into a random fight as a conversation started, I fought the enemy during the convo, but when they attacked he glitched into he fight, with 0 life, not a target, ansd his weapon and shield constantly changing

My game is saved at a point where whenever I load it the game just ends again. I can't get the last two badges now without playing the whole game again.

wtf.. i lost from that 4 adventures, clicked new game, and after that i started right i n front of that 4 @ssholes, and i was able to simply walk by them...

Argh! What the hell happened? I defeat Moric, the day after that I go to Canonia, and suddenly all my items are gone! Ftw!

What sucks is that when i got to the trib cave after finishing the game, i couldn't beat two Crysophages... 'Cos they absorb light damage... So here i am stuck in a battle i can't flee, with no damage going either way (i get hit 0s)...

*sigh* You'd think by now, Mardek 3 would be out... I'm getting tired of waiting. I LOVE this game, and waiting is just making me insane. Argh! This is harsh... c'mon, Pseudolonewolf, get Mardek 3 done soon!

1st off, Kick the King, it's the second floor. You mean the World Saviors? Aim for the princess first, she heals and makes life hell if she's left in play. Aim for Benard using Verhn's smite evil ability, it's super effective against dark characters. While Benard is being smited, have the others aim for Vinnie (the thief), his attacks are annoying. Finally, kill Barthalio.

I don't exactly know why, pcbb, but it's definetely not a glitch. Maybe they aren't as "important" as Mardek, Deugan, and Emela... still, I'm wondering about it too.

Don't know if this is a glitch or not but is the fourth character in your party (Zach or Vern) not show up at all in shop menus, meaning that you can't access their inventory or see their sprite but still see the arrow/equal sign for stat changes based on items highlighted?

Not a glitch, jkingshooter. Alas, some treasure chests have two items in them, you just have to click x twice. You can check your map to see any items, hidden in chests or ground, still in play. Of course, everyone knows that, but it's a good reminder.

PseudoloneWolf had better finish the sequels soon... I had a cool idea. It would be awesome if they released all the chapters as a DS or Wii game... a great RPG like this can't stay off store shelves forever.

alright it seems a lot of people are having trouble with the other heroes, i doubt anyone will read this but ill write this anyway because i'm bored.
1. I suggest using zach for this because hes stronger but its doable with vern. Use mardek to heal
2. kill the white mage really quickly.
3. kill the black mage
4. Kill the theif
5. Own the warrior
6. If u cant do this then i suggest training or getting better equipment
7. BTW make sure u get the trilobite key in the tainted grotto its hidden in one of the skeletal remains look at the map its indicated by a chest icon

Random bug if it's not been discovered/discussed yet. I opened the key items tab under inventory and clicked the trilobite key from the bandit I didn't kill earlier in the game and after a battle I find that all of the items in Mardek's Inventory are gone and the Trilobite key is there. Is it a bug or did I do something wrong?

Also, is there a way to get to the temple in Lake Qur and if yes, then is there any reason to go there (I've filled out everything in my encyclopedia; the only things I'm missing 11 treasure chests and I've completely cleared all of the maps). Anyone been able to score all 130?

I played this game before on Newgrounds and beat it. Loved it then, and I still love. Especially the dialog between the Governance de Magi members (the Air-aligned person just cracks me up for some reason). Only thing I didn't like was needing to switch between the mouse and keyboard for inventory management, but then again I almost never used items during battle in the first place so what difference does it make? And for anyone having trouble finding the keys; Tainted Grotto (invisible chest), random Canoia zombie(just keep fighting), Social Fox's tomb, and the Goznor Inn.

Bah, bug happened again, and I've discovered its exact manifestation. It seems at some point (either time based or dependent on doing something like fighting, opening a chest, discovering an area) all save files become corrupt. Those corrupt save files don't display in the load or save screens, and they cause everything (up to five files) on that *screen* to become invisible. I created 10 save files at the beginning, went through all the chapter 1 areas and did the first boss fight, then saved, and found that the 0-4 screen (with the autosave) was blank and screen 10-14 (with the new save) wasn't accessible. screen 5-9 was fine (but useless old saves).

shinykecleon I do pay attention to types and recently I've fought four more fights against the adventurers but I never kill more than a couple of them before my entire party is dead. I first take out the healer as she is fairly weak and it take only a couple turns to kill her using the combined forces of Emela, Deugan and Vehr (Mardek is for healing) but after that I take out vennie who seems to sprout and unlimited supply of potions but still he gets killed. Then The mage and the swords guy are annoying as they hit high and after vennie is dead they just attack mardek only eliminating my good healing (He also has almost all the potions as I can't figure out how to disperse them among party members) then with the power of the two of their attacks the rest of my party falls fairly quickly.

LOL, six message in a row spam. Anyhow, after replicating this problem multiple times, then booting windows to check if it happens there, then coming back to linux... I can't make the bug happen any more. Hehe. Setting rating back to 5/5... and making LOTS of backup of my save files. n.n

Well, I removed my flash cache and started again, got a little way in, saved, reloaded the page, and the load button was not greyed out but there were no games listed. I cannot play this game all the way through without being able to save and load, which means I have to rate it 1/5. Which is a shame, because going on the first game and that this one is obviously longer I was planning on giving it 5/5.

OK, the save system is completely screwed. I started again, making a new save at every point, then in the corridor leading up to the same bug I got before I went to the save screen and all but one of my saves have disappeared! I create a new slot, immediately go into the save screen again and... the new save isn't there! I save over the old save, that seems fine, and then I try to make another save, and BOTH saves disappear!

What the hell? I played to the mine, got the bug mentioned in the description text, reloaded the page, and now BOTH my chapter 1 and 2 saves are gone!

still my favorite flash game, one problem though i seem to be missing one of the people in the encyclopedia, i think its mardeks dad but dont know how to get info on him. hmm anyone know what to do?

For the trilobyte keys - one of them is an item dropped by zombies walking around in Canonia.... and another can be found from one of the miner in the bar of Gozner (if you chose not to kill him earlier in the game, he will be there)

Anubis, keep in mind the critical role TYPES play in a battle. Bernard can be easily struck down by Verhn's Smite Evil, for he is a dark type and therefore a light attack is very powerful against him. Also, defeat the healer first, she is a nuicance to the rest of the battle.

The adventurer battle is plain old annoying every time you get the enemies health down to below 50 one guy pops a potion and the girl cures them and even with four people hitting one person turn after turn they just don't die. The battle last for almost a half hour before I ran out of mana and potions so I couldn't heal my people before they were killed.
