its an okei game.. but is a bit boring and might be confusing for normal PPL..
it's many reasons to just give it a 1 but it's a pretty dicent game so i give it a 3.. :P hehe but thats me..

for later levels use the map in the menu. It shows hidden paths and treasure chests. Great game, do NOT turn sound off. It has one of the best soundtracks for a flash game I've ever seen.

@Sarjon: thanks for posting the key locations. Btw the thief gives you key #4, key #3 is somewhere en route to Social Fox's tomb. Had to kill a whole bunch of zombies before getting key #2. All 4 keys help open the way to the underground Trilobyte town of Cambria, where you can win a good sword for Mardek in a 20-round tournament.

Guide to where trilobite keys are: Key 1. Found in tainted grotto, hidden in lake right before sub-boss.
Key 2, dropped by random zombie in caronia, or whatever.
Key three given to you by thief if you choose to let him live

Screw it, just replay the first chapter. Takes around 40 mins for everything (talk to everyone, click on all the bookcases etc). There's only one unfilled item in the encyclopedia, the 7th under Artefacts.

Redid chapter one on Kongregate. I noticed that I have way less info in my encyclopedia entries because I skipped reading all the bookshelves and talking to some people. Gotta remember to do all that in this chapter, hopefully we get to revisit the chapter 1 areas.

Played the first chapter on the crazymonkey site. Says we should be able to transfer saves to the next chapter. I hope they release all chapters here. It's gonna be a pain replaying the first one even though it was pretty short.

When you first run into bandits and miners is there supposed to be two of them? I keep getting someone called Error that does the talking and the one Bandit that is there leaves after Error tells him to warn the chief. I've tried restarting about 5 times and have the same problem each time.

As with Max Mesiria this really and truly takes me back... and in a good way. I especially enjoyed the dialogue witch was quite hilarious at some point. Good stuff overall.

This was one of the better flash RPGs I've ever played. Sure, some of the dialogue is rather corny, and the jokes can be terrible at times, but the battle system is sound and the difficulty is just right. I actually spent 13 hours on this game, and I don't regret a minute of it.

This game, and series is just wonderful! I noticed a few little issues here and there, but they could be caused by things on my end.
I have yet to beat this chapter but I noticed an issue of items equiped to Deugan not carrying over from chapter one. I was wondering if anyone else had that issue or if Pseudolongwolf knows of it and will solve the issue for the next chapter.

Awesome flash RPG. Excellent soundtrack, great character abilities, great item variety, great interface, great battle dynamic with it's reaction commands, superb dialogue that I actually want to read. What really won me over, though, was that Pseudolonewolf covered so many of the small details that your average online RPG just doesn't have: agility-based turns in battle (with equipment to boost agility), autosave(!), mapping functionality that tracks explored territory, some nice sidequests with extra bosses, party switching(!), different weapons having their unique look in battle. Somehow, the game was just the right length, and I was very glad to see that the arena only had 20 levels instead of some 50-100 level overkill, especially since exp and leveling were implemented for monsters as well. The only suggestions I have is to make the inventory interface keyboard accessible, and to make the character portraits less ugly (don't know if that was intentional or not). 5/5

@Severed_Hand
Trilobite Key 1 is in a pool in the tainted grotto. Use your map to find a chest that you cannot see, but is located on a tile of green slime-ish water.

I love the graphics on this game. but while you are fighting, your guy magically turn unpixelized.
(if thats even a word, i think a spelled it wrong)
also, its really hard to control the inventory.
it almost never grabs the item i click on.
sort of same thing with battling, i press the x button and it doesn't go to that choose who you want to attack area. 4/5
