This is my favorite game on Kongregate bar none and the best Flash RPG I've ever played. I'll be donating to Pseudolonewolf and I hope everyone who loves the game does too. He designed this game from top to bottom (excellent music included) and it's a labor of love for the benefit of a small group: people who truly love well plotted and challenging games. If we don't support it, no one else will.

Another excellent game by Pseudolonewolf. I actually really enjoy the storyline and how much text there is. Please don't change the game's style just because some people don't appreciate the hard work that goes into making a game with a plot. 5/5 Keep it up

Another thing: the zombie dragon.
When I first fought it, it used the annoying gas attack a lot. After I quit, left, and did some other stuff, I came back. It didn't use it during the entire fight. I don't know if this was intentional or anything.

I'd definitely qualify this as more of a Phantasy Star game than a Final Fantasy game. Phantasy Star had a similar high quality and experience system.

This is a great game. It's fun, and some of the dialogue is amazing. I have one question though, who can use double-swords? I found a bone-slicer, and bought a sashiik. Is it useable by the mercenary from that inn only?

i just fkced up mardek rpg2 wit a glitch.....Have autosave on....Start a new game.....Get to mine..... Fight bandits.....Have deugen kill jimself....Let Mardek die......Click load game......Then go to end of chapter one.......The game will Fuk itself

i love these games... but has anybody else noticed that when you have youtube videos up and you walk through a door it pauses the videos? please fix that if possible ^^

Great game. Played it before the badges came out but I'm glad to play again. Already finding some things/areas that I didn't notice before.

Unfornutaly during one loading I lst all my items carried by Mardek so basicaly almost everything except some potions :(

Way too much dialogue... wouldn't be so bad if the dialogue wasn't all horrible and boring... Show, don't tell. other than that, not bad

i've just loaded my game and im inside the tainted grotto and uhm the screen is all black except the caracters is that normal?

In trilo cave, there's a skeleton with a really annoying glitch item. He's supposed to have a mace; what shows in his hand keeps changing. Not sure what he's actually attacking with.

im not usually into rpgs but i like this one cause its funny and addicting.. reminds me of final fantasy

Simply superb - 5/5. Epic storyline that embraces comedy, drama, heroism, and tragedy. Believable character development. Intuitive gameplay controls that reward both skill and strategy. Tons of hidden secrets and rewards. Plenty of replayability. I would play this game through even if it had no badges. Please bring out chapter 3 soon!

For those who seem to have problems with the saving, did you allow Flash to store the data it requires? At some point, a box would have come up - a grey box, in a different style to the rest of the game - requesting to store a certain amount of data on your computer. If you deny it, then your saves won't work for obvious reasons.
Also, no level grinding is necessary for the World's Saviours. You just need to have some kind of effective strategy... That is, mindlessly hitting them at random won't work in THAT fight. Think about what you're doing!

krackhead06, I think the reactions are tied to some items, you need to "master" them before you can use them without that item

Why won't my reactions work? And yes, I have them hitting at the right times, but they don't work. On the menu screen, they are sort of a faded text instead of being clear like everything else. Is there an ailment I have or something I need to do?

Please dont tell me that I have to remake the whole game to get the hidden arena badge when I only have one save at the end of the chapter?

Ok! I like the game and the dialogs in Mardek (nice game since 1)...
but i discovered that my inventory bugged in a very troublesome way T_T Everything was replaced by the key itens
( T_T and I overwrited the saved game before notice this)
So, anyone playing.. keep 2 separated save games with little difference between they can save u from some problems.

So is the save button just for decoration? Cuz I just lost about 5 saves and the autosave because of that idiotic party you run into. Is there any chance that fight could be stacked against you more? Oh boy, I get to grind levels, never seen that total waste of time in a game before.

It didn't save those half-dozen places I thought I'd saved (you know, by going to the menu and then pressing 'x' on 'save'.)

If you press enter right before u get a battle (very hard to time right) and then exit out of the menu, you are walking around in the map, while in a fight.
